Newt Gingrich opened up a strong salvo on President Obama. Gingrich dubbed the president a “Saul Alinsky radical” and called him “the most radical president in American history.”

I'm liking Gingrich/West.

People need to remember that Santorum LOST his last election for senate by
18 POINTS!!!

Liz Cheney would be an awesome VP.

Personally, I'd like to see Gingrich/West. West is a solid conservative and a veteran, he would defang the DNC's "raaaacist" theme, and he'd be perfect in the traditional attack dog role of the VP candidate.

Something to think about.

Gingrich + a CONSERVATIVE Hispanic woman= scaring the CRAP out of the Obama and his Libtards!

But--the thought of Colonel Allen West going from VP to CIC in 2020 also makes me smile!

Either choice would be great!

Sarah’s comment reminded me of a LOTR quote:

Her words are “like the falling of small stones that starts an avalanche in the mountains.”

Remember, Reagan had Bush as VP.

I have never forgiven him for that.

Yes, with disastorus consequences for the party and the country

Also, remember, Ford was supposed to be VP until it just couldn’t get done.

Newt knows history. He knows how Bush ruined Reagan’s legacy. And he knows the Bushes backed Romney full tilt.

He’ll want someone he can groom who can carry on his legacy. I’m guessing someone young. Jindal, Ryan, Rubio, West, someone like that.

Who cares if Jeb endorses Romney! Haley endorsed Romney in SC and it didn’t do him much good. I really think that Palin’s endorsement of Newt in SC was huge. Baier asked Palin who she would vote for if she lived in FL and she refused to answer, but did reiterate that Todd had endorsed Newt and why!

I think what she was infering was he shouldn’t stay in the race but she would never say it. So,she skated around having to say he should stay in.

“she doesn’t want to say anything specific as to a candidate in FL”

She KNOWS that if Gingrich wins, she’s going to be Sec of Energy.

The bad thing is early voting which has been going on for about 2 weeks so Romney will have a jump on Newt here. A good thing though I think Romney will have to debate twice this week even though he has not committed to them yet. Here comes the Romney media assault for the next ten days here.

I dunno - Santorum is putting too much stress on SC being in “Newts back yard” as the reason for his win. How about the fact that SC has 10% unemployment vs. under 5% in Iowa? How about the way Newt took the battle to the media? How about the way Newt commanded the facts of the SC economy and made it real instead of just rambling on in generalities like Santorum did?

Santorum is a good guy, but he’s whistling past the graveyard if he thinks this was just a matter of geographical proximity.

If I were ever to meet Mark Levin I would apologize to him for not seeing that he was right about Beck from day 1.

It didn’t take TOO long for me to catch on to Beck’s shtick....yet at first I though Levin’s motivation was jealousy. I was dead wrong and Levin was right about Beck.
