Senator John Kerry surprised a few people at the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup ceremony at the White House Monday afternoon.
The 68-year-old senator had two black eyes and a swollen nose.
His spokeswoman Whitney Smith told WBZ-TV Kerry broke his nose playing ice hockey recently

I thought I had heard that somewhere too. He got a medal or 4 didn't he? He killed women and children or something and was a war hero for it. Same guy?

I don’t like or respect the man, but I sure can relate to his love of a game and continued participation. I’m 68 too, and play basketball at least twice a week most weeks. I frequently sport black eyes, bruises, Ace bandages or band-aids as a result.
Still being able to run with those 40-50 year old kids makes me appreciate that God has been better to me than I deserve!
Correction: THREE Purple Hearts...one for each eye and one for the nose!

I’ve seen plenty of rhinoplasty’s and that is what you look like after the operation.
He ain’t tough.
Maybe he had a deviated septum fixed or did a face lift and nose job at the same time.
Whatever it was he didn’t break his nose pretending to be tough.
He broke it being prissy so he could hold whatever youthful look he can.
