All four remaining GOP candidates have been confirmed for tonight's debate sponsored by NBC News, the Tampa Bay Times, The National Journal and the Florida Council of 100. The debate will take place at the University of South Florida in Tampa. This will be the first of 2 debates this week focusing on the Florida GOP primary on Tuesday, January 31st. Note the air times on the east and west coast.

I didn’t say that _I_ thought that reporter was hot, only that my computer must have thought she is since my connection to NationalJournal melted.
Romney taking it to Obama about the economy - when he does that, he does it well.
And Romney agreed, but we definitely should not allow illegal aliens to enlist if the gov't follows through on the proposed force reductions. Citizens who want to serve might not find slots, and we should accept no illegals under those circumstances, or any circumstances, IMO.

I can’t stand listening to Mark Steyn. Especially during the GOP Primary. Maybe he will get better once we have a nominee.

Newt was off his game in the first exchange.
Mitt was attacking Newt as being a lobbyist and Newt responded that he did not make that much money from Freddie and Fannie as the money went to entities which means the money was going to employees and Newt was taking a small salary along with profits after expenses. Newt correctly responded that it was unfair and asked how much Bain made and it was not fair to say that Bain entity profits and Romney profits were one in the same.
For whatever reason Gingrich lost that point which was a winning argument and started babbling about Medicare.
Then Romney had his best moments.
For Newt thankfully there was a commercial.
After the commercial, there has been no real debate just boredom which favors the frontrunner who still appears to be Gingrich.

Sometimes Newt is a bit too honest.He is weak on immigration. He’s never been100% 80 at best. that being said he would make the best potus of anyone running and its not even close.

I agree. Feel like I’m a kid sitting in some crabby person’s house and I’m not allowed to talk, or laugh, or make any noise.
I worked for the Missile Defense Agency until last month, when my entire branch was eliminated in response to force reductions. 850 jobs eliminated across the agency. If I find out an illegal has been hired when we U.S. citizens were ushered out the door, I'm going to be really ticked.
Gingrich talks about sugar (cane vs beech?) subsidies and says it is very difficult to mess with agricultural subsidies....they are very well represented.
Romeny says we need to end subsidies (after Williams says Romney is being supported by Sugar subsidies...???)
