at the time, George Washington’s America was not involved in extracting oil from the middle east and propping up half the governments over there with billions of dollars a year in foreign aid.

I read your, I believe, response to another poster. I agree that our problem as a Nation is not the leaders we choose. It is the people who choose these leaders that are the problem. neither Bill Clinton nor obama aer/were the problem. They are/were merely symptoms of the problem.Again, the problem lies with the people who choose these leaders. The Bill Clintons and obamas, as a Nation, we can survive. We cannot and will not survive the people who put individuals such as these in positions of power.
