Filmmaker Oliver Stone, known for his liberal political views, said he would vote for GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul over President Obama should Paul win the Republican nomination.

In an interview with Rock Cellar magazine, Stone was asked if an economic collapse would lead to the fall of the American “empire.”

“I think it’s a given,” Stone said. “There’s no way that we can continue this spending spree. In fact, I think in many ways the most interesting candidate — I’d even vote for him if he was running against Obama — is Ron Paul. Because he’s the only one of anybody who’s saying anything intelligent about the future of the world.”

Could Paul’s support for drug legalization have anything to do with Stone feeling this way?

This merely confirms that Ron Paul and his gaggle of surrender monkey supporters/spammers are truly insane. Humblegunner's actual, unretouched, real-life photo serves us well for this:

Isn’t RuPaul for legalizing cocaine? Well that’s why Oliver Stoned would vote for him.

That’s one more reason not to vote for Ron Paul. Stone is the creepiest commie cuddler in Hollywood.

It just goes to show how stupid leftists are. They don’t realize Paul and Obama are on polar opposites of the spending spectrum. Why even consider voting for one or the other? You’d have to be schizophrenic to vote for Obama and then vote for Paul.

He thinks America is spending too much money yet obama is his second choice. Stone is crazy. Really.

I say it again, if Dr. Paul runs he takes the anti-war stoner crowd away from Obama ergo all the college kids that voted for him last time. That is around the margins reductions for Obama on top of the Hollywood loon types and the Libertarians that would vote for him as well.

My gut tells me he is ego will have him go the Libertarian route. If so and all those that say will vote for him will, I say go for it Dr Paul Run !

Because if that plays out like I mentioned, it hurts Obama more than Gingrich or whomever the nominee is...
