All right!!! I too am from North Central Kansas. By the time the primaries get to us...it is all over. So I hope and pray the people of Florida choose wisely for those of us who will never have the opportunity to make our choice. I think Mr. Newt should be very careful and know that the republican establishment will pull out all stops to keep him from the nomination.
I was under the mistaken understanding that it was WE THE PEOPLE who will make that choice. Remember, they also told Reagan he could never win the Primary, and certainly would never become President. I am a conservative woman, married 40 years, and I don’t give a crap about Mr. Newt’s personal life 10+ years ago. I know he will take the argument to the President and the American people.
Mr. Newt, like Ms. Sarah, has been and will be vilified by first the Republicans, then from the Illinois machine for Mr. O. I hope you all listened to Rush yesterday, Mitch Daniels is being asked by that same republican establishment to reconsider a run. Like Daniels has no baggage. WOW! The establishment will not choose for us this time. WE THE PEOPLE will choose this time, and the republican establishment be damned!
