Screw the GOP. Stop treating it like it is conservative or even honest. Call out their Gauleiters, nomenklatura, charlatans, stooges, whores and ward healers. Boycott or shun them and starve the surrender monkeys.

Man, those were glory days back in the ‘80s, when I could sit down with my copy of National Review AND my copy of New Republic. Great education on how to lie through omission, or spin a minor fact into a major one. National Review had the MUCH better track record for telling the truth, but they did omit inconvenient facts that New Republic would cover, and vice versa.
Loved it. Something sad about being such a political junky so young though.
Drudge isn’t posting “news” about Newt. They’re running anti-Newt advertising 24/7 and totally ignoring any negative news about Romney, such as his advisor Norm Coleman saying they won’t repeal Obamacare. Do you seriously think if Newt’s guy said that it wouldn’t have made the headlines?
FR ought to create a nice-looking front page that could provide links to the articles posted here in the forum. There is definitely a market for a non-RINO Drudge Report at this point.

People are looking for BALANCE, not someone who just happens to live in FL clearly hard-lined against one candidate. Drudge should have the testicular fortitude to ENDORSE instead of playing manipulation games.
After about 15 years as a reader/viewer/listener to Drudge I've blocked his site this morning.

I quit Fox some time ago. Drudge never was about news. It always has been about seeing what story conservative insiders are trying to kickstart at any given moment.
It looks like conservative insiders and conservatives are parting ways.

I don’t bother with regular news sites any more, except when something big is happening.

I come here as this place sually has news from across teh country.
If something is happening in, say, Pennsylvania I just look up the PA Freepers and see what they’re saying.
My local newspaper is now Gannet owned, and hyper liberal.

I dunno - newser’s partners are liberal sites like Slate, Huffington Post, and (slightly less liberal) Business Insider (as posted on newser’s site). You may need to look further to find a good news site that is not so biased...

Well, that's mighty intolerant of you.
I do not get people banned or suspended. In fact, I spend a lot of time in FReepmail with n00bs, doing for them what I wish someone had done for me 11+ years ago, helping them to learn the FR arcana so as to keep them viable long enough to get their feet under them.
I am almost always IATZ, and if I'm not pinged, I never know that someone was banned or suspended.
If I am pinged, I do an after-action report on the zottee, and yeah, I dance in their ashes a bit, but I didn't get 70 people on my tiny ping list by being the bad guy.
You may want to aim your guns at the person or persons who are offending you, and not the innocent bystanders who are observing the action and commenting upon it.
And while you have nothing else to do, why not bump the FReepathon thread and make a nice donation?
