Audi has had their TDI race cars in contention at LeMans for a number of years now, with multiple victories. BTW, check iTunes for a free video download called "Truth in 24" - it's a documentary about the development of the Audi car and racing program. It's well worth the 1.5 hours and has great HD racing footage.
