“Cheeseburgers, being mainly protein, don’t cause spikes in one’s blood-sugar.”

Well, a cheeseburger isn’t mainly protein. The meat and cheese are, but the bun is nothing but carbs, and most likely the high-glycemic white kind. The fries are even worse; potatoes spike the blood sugar.

But I’m just saying. It’s Paula’s right to eat whatever she wants, and like someone else said, maybe she wasn’t going to eat all of her plate. If we’re going to chase Paula Deen around with a camera at dinnertime, then turn one on that burger-scarfing wookie in the White House.

We replace those high glycemic buns with Thomas’ light multi grain English muffins. You never miss the crap bun and the muffin doesn’t get soggy. Plus you get added fiber which helps to stabilize blood sugar.
