“Santorum’s a hypocrite just as much as Mittens is. He’s a spoiler and he comes off as sanctimonious , snarky and sullen when he doesn’t get enough attention.”

Yep.

People are such tards.
If We get a decent candidate as President, Perry will be working overtime to neutralize the EPA, the Dept of commerce and the dept of education in conjunction with a friendly executive branch.

You can look for him to drive wedge issues like 2nd amendment rights and border security as well.

” I am beginning to believe that the entire cast of candidates for the republican nomination are out to destroy the conservative movement as well as the republican party. It would be best if all of them simply withdrew and let uninstructed delegates come up with the nominee. This is a year which conservatives should easily win the election but the tawdry performance by all concerned is going to lead to the ruin of the republic by the reelection of Obama.”

Post of the day ! Why else would they subject themselves to what - 18 debates on CNN , MSNBC , ABC , etc., etc...and tear each other to shreds while Obama sits back laughing his butt off ?

What I will never understand is how Perry never recovered from the “instate tuition” thing, which he could not veto and had nothing to do with illegal immigration. Then Newt promotes Amnesty and folks cheered.

Instate tuition is a form of amnesty.

Anyway, I'm still looking for an answer to my question.

If Newt wants to legalize illegals who have been here more than 25 years and if the last amnesty was about 26 years ago, just how many illegals would be covered by this new amnesty who weren't covered by the last amnesty?

We have the whole RAT party and a surprising chunk of FR who choses, irrationaly, to understand what TEA did in Nov. 2010.

Whistling past the graveyard, all of them.

Sickening isn’t it..damn I am getting more and more pessimistic everyday. I always thought that ANYONE could beat Obama, my shoe could beat him, but now, if Romney is the nominee(Which the media wants SO badly) they know that Conservatives will stay home. I mean really, who here can say that they will vote for Mitt Romney if he is the nominee? To me Obama and Romney are one in the same, which is what the media loves. I get how the media wants Romney, I get how the left wants Romney, but Republicans.. I just dont get it..why? Has the Republican party strayed so far that they don’t even recognize what their values used to be..that they(The establishment especially) can want someone who is exactly like the guy they are supposedly against, I just dont get it

“I hope Mitt is not the nominee. But if he is, Newt cannot blame it on RS”

Newt’s made plenty of mistakes and it is not because he was too conservative. Newt has to listen to us if he wants to win.

I'm watching the rerun of the debate since I wasn't home for the live event.

Ron Paul is most vile. He's engaging in class warfare calling our most productive people, "The Wealthy Class". And what's with his lunacy about a transfer of wealth to that so-called "Wealthy Class". We all know that Ron Paul's anti-military stance represents an existential threat to America. His ideas about the economy are straight out of Das Kapital.

This evil little appeaser is an embarrassment to America and the district in Texas that elects him cycle after cycle. He's no Constitutional Conservative and is in the same category as Mitt Romney.

FUMR and FURP! Go Newt Go!

I agree with you totally on the Santorum abortion statement.

Thanks for reminding me of another reason I don’t like Santorum.

I was kinda falling under his spell tonight because the food fight was making others look bad, but there are three huge negatives, no flat tax, bragging about home schooling at the white house when he should be concerned with making education for the mass of people who can’t home school.

His over the top social security plan, also.

And saying felons should regain voting rights.

I like that Newt is a historian.
I think what made our founders great is that they had a keen appreciation of history.

Maybe Newt could drop out and endorse Santorum. It’s clear there’s a majority who would vote for the Cookie Monster to stop Romney. :-)

I’ll vote for Paul in the primary I’m in Virginia too. I’ll also not stay at home but vote for Obama if Mitt is running against him. We would be better off with Obama. Don’t vote for Mitt under any circumstance. That is giving in to the traitors.

It’s totally weird, mylife. Current Newt supporters would come on Perry threads and utterly damn him for what they thought was supporting illegals, which he never did.

Go figure.

I can’t.

This mittens ‘rebound’ is a function of absentee votes coming in from 6 weeks ago, and is not representative of current conservative sentiment.

South Carolina picks PRESIDENTS.

Your problem is you do not know the word “right”. Had you ever read the Magna Carter (which was written in Latin), you would know that English word “right” comes from the Latin word “jus” from which we also get the English words justice and law. Therefore our inalienable rights cannot extend wider than natural law.

Do you think you have an inalienable right to libel?

Republicans like Romney because he is disciplined and does his homework. He has the executive experience that everyone thought was a good thing when Palin was around.

It’s all about the personality and not his ideas. They figure that if they have a problem with his ideas, they can still work with him.
