I hate to say it, my friend, but one of Newt’s biggest selling points was his debating skills, and now he has lost two in a row. I hope he can recover.

Santorum was on Beck last week, and gave some of the most incredible lessons on the Declaration and the Constitution that I have ever heard.

It was just two short weeks ago that Santorum was confused about inalienable rights....

Roll tape.

I think if I was living in Florida I would believe Newt was more aware of what is needed in Florida than the other three were. Afterall, he is running for President of ALL of the United States, so it would be important for him to understand what is happening in each state. jmho.

Perry only had one really bad debate and his last one was dynamite. He was passionate (defending marines) yet had a great sense of humor.

I don’t think anyone should be judged on a single debate including Newt tonight. Anyone can be off their game.

Paul is an intelligent man, but he seems to speak in a stream of consciousness.

He will be speaking, and say a word that reminds him of another subject, and then he wanders off onto that.

I must admit that I do it myself from time to time, word association football BBQ...

Newt’s stumbles are keeping Santorum in the race. If he wants Rick’s votes, he needs to get better fast.

Every time I try to get with the program and get behind Newt, he starts blabbing about Romney’s bank accounts or his investments or some nonsense and drives me right back to Santorum.

Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, or Paul? Any of the above. ANYBODY BUT OBAMA! Get it?

If you are really a conservative, it's anybody but Obama or Romney.

If you can't agree to those terms, please consider posting elsewhere, as you are not a conservative.

Is it just me, or did Romney come across really nasty and mean tonight? Newt even offered a truce so they could get back to the issues, and Romney clearly turned it down.

Yes, he came across like ankle biter Bachman.
O’ wait! He has hired Barky’s coach.

I would like to be able to find those videos of Rick praising Speaker Gingrich that was shown on Fox last week- by the Bret fellow. I think it was 3 -4 videos they played. Newt should play one of those for an ad.

Absolutely. I hope Floridians who heard the debate will focus on that. I live in Jacksonville. Newt is by far the most educated on each state. Romney just spouts his talking points and reminds everyone he headed up the Olympics and Staples.

Independents and Reagan Democrats will not support Santorum.

Both subsets are waiting which strong horse emerges between Newt and mittens.

Santorum holdouts need to declare their sympthies now, if they have the backbone. They are either for Mittens or Gingrich when Santorum does endorse.

I knew that, just made a mistake. Thanks for the correction. However, the results in either case, hardly constitute an equal standing with a state primary?

Santorum continued to lecture Newt tonight about health insurance mandates yet Santorum neglects to mention that he once supported health insurance mandates himself.

Santorum Supported Individual Health Insurance Mandate...

That’s what I’m struggling with as well, though. I DON’T think that Newt is much better than Romney, at least enough so that I’m shaken in my support for Rick. Smarmy comments about a broken nose and teeth disgust and sicken me, b/c this man Santorum has given every fiber of his body toward the restoration of our Constitution. The man is relentless, b/c he doesn’t want our great experiment in liberty for ALL the people to die. 700+ town meetings attest to his relentlessness. Bob

No, not Paul.

Guess you haven't seen where he gets his money.

Ron Paul is dangerous.

Ron Paul, Soros and Defense

Before everyone gets their panties in a wad. Obama is already starting to make the moves to destroy our military.
Ron Paul will just drive the knife into their backs.
I thought it was clever how the Obama military haters are going to cut Benefits for veterans and wounded soldiers.
Wonder how far enlistment will drop on that one.

One of Ron Pauls best friends is George Soros..

Santorum ended his chances tonight with his answer to the tax question.

He opposes the only fair tax: the flat tax, and he supports the progressive tax.

The audience mostly gasped on that.

Santorum looking good tonight. Must re-read his social security stance and get mad at him again.

Lot of states to go. Were I Santorum, I would stay in and see if Newt and Mitt end up killing each other.
