It is my considered opinion that Herman Cain was the only Republican that could beat 0bama0.

However, the DemonRATs effectively neutralized him.

There is nobody in the current Republican field that can beat 0bama0, ceteris parabus.

The two weakest candidates are the two front-runners. Neither Mitt nor Gingrich can beat 0bama0

Mitt says 0bama0’s doing a fine job. So why vote for him?

Gingrich has way too much baggage and is a lightning rod for the Leftist droolers. They will find dirtier dirt on him yet, and effectively neutralize him.

Heresy, I know, on this forum, but I believe you maybe correct.

However, the DemonRATs effectively neutralized him.

If he was guilty of what he was accused of, then he effectively neutralized himself. If he wasn't, then he neutralized himself through his poor handling of the accusations.

Too bad, because I had high hopes for him, too.

I agree with you 100%.

As a Black Conservative, President Cain would have undercut the foundation of LBJ’s welfare state and been an effective antidote to the lib media propaganda based on racism/sexism that pervades virtually every policy debate.

In that sense, Cain’s value was not just winning in 2012. His value was 8 years of a Conservative Black American undoing a dynamic that has perennially paralyzed our country on all levels of government.

It seems that “surrender” is your favorite word, ceteris parabus.

I want a reformer, a fighter-if the guy has problems so be it. I am tired of nothing ever changing. I was for Cain. He never came back to defend himself. Mitt will lose to Obama because he will not have the base. He will have the card carrying repubs moonbats but not the masses. Oh, yes, Obama wins. At least, with Newt we can flush out the problems and have a chance to set the agenda.

I agree. I can't stand Mitt and the country will see him as another McCain wimp with no ability to fight obama.

Newt is too hyperactive and bounces all over the place. Most of the country hates him.

Paul is too crazy and Santorum is just not catching fire.

I hate these 'debates' that make Republicans look like fools who spend too much time ripping each other.

Obama goes out there and lies, promises goodies, doesn't mention the actual 'state of the union, has no solution for our problems, and nationally people think he did a great job with the speech.

I am usually a very optimistic guy, but right now we need a miracle.

Not really because he turned out to be a joke.

So you trust the impartiality of NBC to conduct a truly unbiased poll eh?  They would never ever put out a skewed poll for their own propaganda purposes.. would they.

Polls are primarily used as intimidation devices in this day and age.  Haven't you figured that out yet?  Me personaly, I'm not intimidated or moved by that poll.  My gut feeling is that the anti-Obama vote is going to be so pervasive that we could put up a manikin with a face painted on it against Obama and still come out on top.   Just not believing all the hype that Obama is going to be tough to beat.  It's a bunch of bull crap.

Whoever gets the nomination is going to be the next President, as long as no A-hole (like Ron Paul) runs as a third party.  Newt, Santorum or (gag) Ronmney, it doesn't matter.  The manchurian jackass is going down.
