Giuliani Knocks Romney, Praises Gingrich

Speaking on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe," former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani praised Newt Gingrich and criticised Mitt Romney as a flip-floppoer.

“I’ve never seen a guy change his positions on so many things, so fast, on a dime, on everything,” Giuliani said about the former Massachusetts governor. “Pro-choice, pro-life. And pro-choice because somebody, a close friend, died, and he became pro-choice because this woman died of an abortion. Then he figures out there are embryos and he changes.

“Then he was pro-gun control,” Giuliani opined. “Fine. Then he becomes a lifetime member of the NRA. Then he was pro-cap-and-trade. Now he’s against cap-and-trade. He was pro-mandate for the whole country, then he becomes anti-mandate and he takes that page out of his book and republishes the book. I could go on and on.”

I remember Rudi most for how he handled 9/11 and cleaned up the city. Can’t hardly help but “Like” him in general. Same for Christy...I am livid he supports Romney but he’s the man for N.J. and getting the job done there.

Brilliant! These need to go viral. I wish there were a way to make them available as a collector’s card set. Too cool!

Hey.... didnt we hate Giulianii 4 years ago?

Yep. A lot of people left because of it. Just like they hated Perry and Newt at the beginning of this race. Go figure.

I do not recall, in my lifetime, seeing more integrity than when Rudy refused that 10 million check from the Arab shiek right after 9/11. I will never forget that and I was never more proud of an American than I was in that moment. I’m in Illinois and I see Dick Durbin buddying up to the most radical Muslims. The money has dried up here because the Dems have killed business with their crap so now they cozy up to that Muslim money, selling our safety down the river to line their own pockets!!! I think of Rudy all the time, I think of that moment in history and I’m so very proud and thankful for Americans with integrity like that!

WOW! I am going to have to reassess my opinion of him. I was certain he was a card carrying member of the RINO Elite.

Gingrich, Giuliani, Perry, Cain, Palin, Thompson, Brownback, Jindal .......

There are more governors out there who should be locating their spines and standing on the line with Gingrich.

Rudy may be VP or in the cabinet.

Rudy may be VP or in the cabinet.

That's a new thought for me. Rudy running for VP could take some of the rough edges off of Newt. By that, I mean the public perception of Gingrich as "The Newt Who Stole Christmas" that was created when he was reforming the budget in the '90's. Well ok, he actually does have some rough edges, LOL. I only support him because he is the only conservative in the race.

I like Rudy, too, as a person of conviction and a very strong Mayor. He may have been the only one in NYC who could have handled 911 as well as he did. Christie is good for NJ, and is a great fiscal conservative. However, his brand of “conservativism” would not sell well in the heartland.
