I don’t buy your doomsday senario:

1) I have 20 years on you and 2012 is the same as 1980. The arse hole Peanut farmer was sent packing just like Modale in 1984 and what’s his name in 1988.
2) I am in sales and cover a 9 state area in the midwest. I hear a lot of table talk in restaurants and can’t remember the last time I heard a pro Barry comment. He is hated more than you know.
3) Before the good poeple of this country give up on this nation there will be a hell to pay. As Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor...”I am afraid we have awoken a sleeping giant” and Barry has done just that.
4) I am a grandpa (like a lot of the baby boomers are).....and NO ONE will get away with destroying our grandchildrens future. You can take that to the bank. You may not have anything to fight for but I do.

I fight these same feelings of disgust and discouragement, and they win all too often. However--it might just be that we as a nation have to "hit bottom" before we realize how addicted we are to the "bennies" the Gubmint has been so freely handing out to us.

And when THAT happens, and those in power have to announce there will be no more bennies--NONE--NADA--ZILCH--because the Gubmnit "cash stash" is empty, the rantings and ravings of those who are going through "withdrawal" will be fast and furious and aimed right at whoever controls the "stash".

SO--maybe it is best that those who are the "pushers" keep what little control they have, so that when the SHTF, it will blow them away--figuratively (of course!).

Whatever happens, there IS one promise that gives me great Comfort:
