This will be another aspect of his campaign about which, when challenged, Romney will deny knowledge and involvement.

Santorum’s stock has hit rock bottom after this Florida maneuver of his, designed clearly to prop up Romney. There is no guarantee that his lousy 16 percent in FL, now fallen to 9% in one poll, would move entirely to Gingrich, but had Santorum suspended after South Carolina, a large part of it after Newt’s blowout there certainly would have moved to Newt.
A blistering shame on Santorum. This morning Jeb Bush didn’t sound entirely disinterested in running by a long shot, so if Newt goes down and delegates are in the air, look for Jeb to get in. Santorum is wasting our time trying to kill off Newt.

Agreed. I was prepared to ultimately accept the shite sandwich of a Mittens nomination if Newt or Santorum couldn’t grab the ring. But, after this past coupla weeks and the RINO establishment becoming cheap-shot snipers against Gingrich (and completely ignoring Santorum) and Romney also playing dirty, I am so angry I could spit blood! Also, reading that Mittens mentor, his father, had a fondness for Saul Alinsky — I am almost resigned to 0BowMao getting another four. Mittens will NEVER repeal 0ZER0care! God help us!
I know that Newt has had his “issues” — but on his worst day, Gingrich is a saint compared to this self-professed “Moderate/Progressive ‘Republican’ ,” Willard Mittens Romney! And should Mittens become the nominee, it WILL be the end of the Republican Party!

We have opted for war.
Mitt Romney will not be POTUS. We will take him out of the polical mix in the primaries if possible. However, we are willing to ENSURE his defeat in the general election if necessary.
If that becomes necessary, we will take out as many of his supporters as possible.

Some of us having been warning Free Republic for half a decade what it would be like when a Mormon Mechelzdiak Priest ran for office (the lies, the nastiness), but we were called bigots.
