on Fox right now . . . started at 8 central. Good discussion going on.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks, can you share some of the highlights and your thoughts.
Focus group likes what he has to say. They are pretty positive.
frank kuntz and his dial spinning idiots cause my remote to self deport.
This was fantastic....Woo Hoo Go Newt!
I backed it up to 8:00 and watching that part again. They seem VERY positive. All raising their hands about how Newt interacts with the media. Talking about how after swearing in he would meet with EACH individual Democrat, build bridges and NOT just talk to their leadership, call them back into town to finish work into special session. Now shrinking goverment best polled results, people very favorable, dial up very HIGH.
Yes, and when Frank asks IF they agree they all raise their hands, THEN he asks IF they strongly agree, they ALL keep their hands raised.
Interesting and more details than you get in the 60 second or 90 second debate questions.
Talking taxes now . . . and now a commercial break.
"frank kuntz and his dial spinning idiots cause my remote to self deport."I wish I'd said that
Thank you so much for taking your time in sharing.
I wish I had known earlier. I watched Undercover Boss which is normally pretty good but it was kinda boring tonight. I bet watching Newt would have been more interesting.
later on Luntz said they’d have Santorum (I’m guessing via remote from PA) and Allen West and someone else who I forgot, some couple???
on my dish guide it says Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace so I don’t know IF it will repeat later tonight.
Was this live?
I caught the tail end of it but Newt said something about “tonight’s debate”. Was there another debate tonight?
I needed a laugh!
They just had Santorum on the set. This must have been taped earlier.
Repeats at 9 Pacific Time.
Now I’m confused. At the beginning Luntz says the vote is in less than 48 hours. Then at the end talking about “tonight’s debate”.
This is a rerun. Is it on the FOX webpage?
plus they had clips from Thursday’s debate with Wolf. So must have been after that but before the last 32 minutes.
Since I did not get to see it, what was the end result? They like Newt and will vote for him?
I feel like 90% would. Santorum is on now but I might be a few minutes behind on my DVR. Still showing clips from Thurs. so I don’t know when or where they did this, maybe on Friday since Santorum headed home to PA on Saturday or Sat. a.m. before he headed home?
At least one said he came in as a Rombot but had changed his mind.....One vote at a time folks...One vote at a time.
A little late to be re-energized, Newt.
We will lose Florida big thanks to a couple bad days.
Luckily there are lots of favorable states left after an initial couple that Mitt will win.
Mary Bono, R-California, is married to Connie Mack, R-Florida????? Huh..
news to me. wonder how long they’ve been married?
I’d say about 5 years. It was big news here in FL when it happened.
Me too. Should have checked this out before posting but they married in 2007.
IIRC, Luntz said this was an after debate session they taped after the most recent debate.
thank you. must have been a late night for them. they all looked great but must be exhausted!
Only caught Santorum (impressive, strong conservative values), and Bono/Mack. Rerun at Midnight EST for DVRing.
Damn, I’d vote for Santorum in a heart beat if I thought he had a chance of winning.
Let’s see: do I stand up for my principles and sell my country to the devil, or do I go pragmatic and take the lesser of two evils. Just damn.
Well, I kinda look at this like I would if I was hiring somebody for an important job. So I look at their resume.
It requires a lot of experience for me to hire someone for President. One of those is executive experience, maybe running a private company, and Governmental experience.
Their actual record in office means more to me than what they say while campaigning. Communication skills, knowledge of history, and firm knowledge of all the founding documents.
Given what we have to choose from, I would hire Newt, based on the fact that he really does have lots more experience than Rick.
I would like for Rick to either become part of Newt's team or get elected and serve a couple of terms as Governor, then come back as a real heavy-weight. Plus I agree with a lot of Newt's records and what he articulates now. More so than anyone since Reagan.
The thing that really nailed it for me was when Newt said there was a constitutional way to check unrestrained legislation from the bench, and indicated a willingness to take on the courts.
This has been a particular pet peeve of mine. That this little group of elites in black robes has been forcing at least 80% of Americans to live contrary to what we believe, and infringing on our religious freedom too.
They have implemented things that never could have passed Congress. I am sooooooooo angry that Congress continually gives up it's power to the President or the Courts, so they can blame one or both of the other branches.
So I am on the Newt train. However, I pray to God not specifically for Newt. Just that we get the best leaders to save our Republic and help us return to living life here in service to him, and defeat the wickedness that has swept our land.
So maybe just pray on your decision, for a while. Then do your best. If Santorum was running ahead, I would vote for him to prevent a Romney win. I do hope that enough people in Florida will do the same for Newt.
God's will be done. It's only 4 states anyway, so we have 46 to go. Lord willing and the creek don't rise.LOL.
