The youngins are really going for Newt. Bottom line is, Newt/Santorum combined blow Romney away, and Paul dropping out won’t be any help to Romney either. I don’t see Santorum being in for long, so if Romney can’t nail this one with a decisive victory things don’t look so well for him.

What is amazing is that win or close loss, Newt is being outspent 4 or 5 to 1. Romnuts wants this so badly that he and his stupid Super PACs are spending upwards of 20M just in Fla. alone!

Think if Mittens had donated that to the Wounded Warriors project instead, Wait, isn’t he?

also, look at the Hispanic numbers for Newt. If that is indicative of how that group votes state-wide, this is going to be really close!

I was just listening to a pollster on Boortz. He said that since Florida’s delegation was cut in half on the first ballot, if these priaries and caucuses continue to be close and with delegates going to candidates like Paul and Santorum, even if Romney racks up win after win, he might not be able to garner a majority at the convention.

And if the convention goes to multiple ballots, anything can happen!

Hope this poll is true and that Gingrich is very close because that means that even being outspent 4-1, Gingrich can match Romney vote for vote, and that’s only dangerous to Romney.

But we’ll see tomorrow.

I was listening Rush last Friday.  He spent practically his whole show defending Newt.  I don't know where that other guy is getting that from about Rush bashing Newt.  Not true AT ALL to my knowledge.

I think Rush is on the Newt train.

I read last night that Newt's campaign was not able to start mass advertising until last Friday due to cost constraints; so, this is very encouraging if accurate.

Heard this morning that the internals on Romney's highly vaunted “double digit lead” revealed it was micro thin w/large percentages indicating they could change their minds on election day.

I expect Limbaugh, Beck, Drudge-Coulter and Fox and Fiends will be pimping Romney and Santorum hard today; while working unsubstantiated rumors and out and out lies about Newt into their “commentary.” (Read as: “propaganda”) Of course, there will be brief, vague quasi-retractions on the lies tomorrow to provide plausible deniability in order to maintain their so called “Conservative” bona fides.

Newt said himself that if the margin was even close this would go on to the convention, and now GOD seems to have heard our cries.

Prayers, repentance, and abstaining through Tuesday has its fine graces. GOD be with us.

California, Orange County Hispanics, yesterday wrote Romney to dump him. Rank and file Hispanics who heard Newt speak get it. They will be going for Newt in much larger numbers than media reports.

Newt has to battle the Romney cash machine, the RINO smear machine, and the 9% support for the tool, Santorum, and STILL closes the gap.

This is the work of NO ONE but Newt and us! Endorsers are LATE, and rode our rage into the spot light.

It is WE, who heard NEWT and pecked our little fingers off to blogs, emails, letters and phone calls!

It is WE who have dared to call in to talk shows and to Cspan hollering that we are ON to the game and will have none of it.

Newt has become a CAUSE now! Praying for an outright victory in Florida, without Santorum, against the Romney cash machine and the RINO smear machine, or a margin thin enough that the nation hears and catches fire against the enablers of our national implosion of the Republic.

Against all odds we stop the implosion. You are either in it or you are part of the problem, an example of good men doing nothing and evil triumphs.

Also not his relationship with Clear Channel....

Rush has been pretty rough on Romney and kind to Newt. He went after Newt hard on the Bain attacks...which was warranted. We don’t need that class warfare crap on our side. Overall, he has put up a valiant defense of Newt’s actual record as a conservative leader and Reagan revolutionary throughout the 80s and 90s.

Is it me or am I the only one to notice? If all politics "are local" did Newt just localize this race i.e. to Floridian's only? i.e. via courting the Hispanic / ( anti -Castro Cuban's as a subgroup of that) Aerospace segments of the population?

If so, is this a game changer for him in FLA which Romney didn't see?

Here we go again ... curse of the FL soccer moms:

Females support Romney vs. Newt — 41.6% to 26.2%
Males support Newt vs. Romney — 38.1% to 27.5%

Possible soccer mom decision points:

1. Romney is so handsome
2. Callista uses too much hairspray

The younger generation is less likely to be judgemental about Newt’s past marital problems. Unfortunately for Newt, they are also less likely to vote in the primary than the older groups.

Operation Chaos? Dems registered as Pubbies voting for Ron Paul. Also remember a lot of Libertarians (Paul was/is) are for legalisation of drugs. And they vote.

FL is a closed primary, but I do not know what the length of time from registering to voting is.

Most in this age group use cell phones and are more difficult to poll. Pollsters get their information from land line phones.

They are also more computer suave. Better at searching for truth and sending it out to friends etc.

Notice the Paul number...More than Romney.

Encouraging poll but seems to be an outlier. Maybe they are picking up some trend the others aren’t . New quinnipeac poll out this morning has Romney +14, and includes polling for Friday Saturday and Sunday. It is a 5 point increase for Romney since their last poll on Friday..

PPP seems to be the only other poll showing it realitively close. Their daily tracking has been pretty consistent with Romney in the 7-8 range.

Not sure if IA or anyone else will post their last updates tonight. Might give us a better idea if it is closing or not. I don’t think Romney will win by double digits. If so, newt is in big trouble considering the February primaries are favorable to Mitt. Only one debate in late February. And what is going to really sting is the states where Newt won’t be on the primary. I heard there are 4 states he won’t be on for a total of 500 delegates. Is that really true? I only knew about Virginia.

Keep the faith. This has been a wild coaster and anything is possible.

I think that this poll is flaky. 0.0 % for Rick Santorum among 18 to 29 Yr olds? And the totals add up to 100.1, so it’s more than a typo. I also seriously wonder about 45% for Paul among blacks.
