How can they not see it? Because they`re not directed to do so. Modern day American voters like to be led around by the nose and spoon-fed only enough information so as not to overrun their gnat-like attention spans... and the MSM is more than happy to keep them so underinformed.

An electorate that pays attention would by now have more disgust for 0bama than Fred Goldman has for O.J. Simpson.

I fear that 14% approval rate for congress applies to more than Pelosi.

I can’t help but think that at least some of this swing is a result of the growing disgust among independents with the bitter personal attack politics being played by Myth Romney and Newt(ron) Gingrich.
While I am still backing Newt, I think a whole lot of folks are supportive of Santorum’s remarks at the last debate, trying to get the two front runners back on track and talking about the ISSUES.
More than a few of them likely would change their vote (at least for purposes of a poll).

I blame the Republican establishment for this. The @#$%^&* RINOs have destroyed the Republican Party: It will go the way of the Whigs.

We need a new party, a conservative party, a Constitution party. I’m done with the GOP.

“Is there anywhere else to go? The US is not the US I knew.”

No, this is our home we must find a way to defend it. To defend anything is a fight, and that invariably requires that we first understand our enemy.

Is this 41% motivated by a genuine desire to steal from those who have been fruitful, or is it something else?

What a nightmare. How can the people NOT see that the democrats haven’t even passed a budget in the Senate in over 1000 days?
Because Republicans and the controlled opposition talking heads are too stupid to say it. They lack the capability of thinking strategically. This includes that buffoon Cantor, to say nothing of the backstabbing bastards in the Senate GOP leadership?
You tell them that they have to coordinate a message and lay the groundwork of blaming the economy on socialism and Democrat policies and they think you are speaking martian, are an idiot, or should be burned at the stake. I made this suggestion to Eric the idiot in 2006 and he smiled and said that the strategy was to protect seats individually. I said that they need to lay the groundwork for 2008 and 2010 and he tells me that this is not how Washington works.

Thank Bonehead and Mitchy !
They were swept into power to kill off Obamacare and the
Out of control spending !
They have done nothing but take care of their
Lobbyist pals and former aides !
They have no interest in stopping Obamacare or
The spending !
They are crooked to the core !
And must be removed !

Ithinkone poster gotit spoton: we are in an entitlement pacifist state now. The schools did their best to undermine free enterprise, patriotism and cutting taxes, regs and spending and now Obama wins and reaps the whirlwind with us all in it. It willnot be a pretty picture. The DC Pub Estab. doesn’t have a clue howserious our future is and they play the game as if bama is just another Dem. He isnot.

Is this a just a temporary bump from the SOTU address or a result of Mitt Romney pulling the Republican primary race into the sewers? Or has America just gone hard left?

I think it is a result of Mitt Romney dragging the Republican primary into the sewer. Mitt Romney will kill down tickett Republicans in November. He is every stereotype Democrats try to put on the Republican party. Making Romney the face of the GOP is a HUGE mistake. I cannot believe voters are buying the GOP-E meme that Romney is the most electable. Romney is not electable.

The corollary should be “Is America better off than it was four years ago?”
