Yeah, and what is with the date? Today is Jan 31, not Feb 1.

2012 is a leap year.

America’s Anchorman quoted the Pollsters for a Mitt win by 15% or 20% in his monologue. So that means Gingrich can claim a moral victory if it’s closer than that.

I feel pretty sure the pros are predicting something along the Mitt 51% - Gingrich 25% - Santorum 14% - Paul 10%, at which time Mitt’s supporters will be saying SEE! Everybody else might as well drop out now!

I think that’s their dream, anyway.

JMHO

Hmmm. Based on the exit polls FreeReign now projects Newt the winner.

✓ Gingrich 0%

...Romney 0%

“So that means Gingrich can claim a moral victory if it’s closer than that.”

In a winner-take-all primary (as I believe Florida is - if I’m wrong, please let me know), there is no moral victory.

If this were a primary in which delegates were assigned based on the candidate’s vote totals, then yes, this would be a moral (and somewhate strategic) victory for Gingrich.

The RCP average is Romney +13, so that's the "pros" consensus.

The final result is very likely to be within 5 points of the above either way.

Faux GOP-E Romney News should be calling it for Romney within the next hour.

Well, they have been calling it for Romney for weeks, but they will do it again very soon.

GO NEWT GO......this is not just about picking a president, it’s about the very survival of our country!!

to Hell with the polls!””””

I read a poll yesterday that said Mitt held a 15 point lead over Newt:

They ‘surveyed’ 737 people in the state of Florida.

That didn’t seem like a very deep poll, based upon the population of all of Florida, so I dismissed it.

One thing we all have to remember: The people who ARE polled, their party affiliation & exactly how the questions are phrased can be very misleading.

IF I poll only 70% Democrats & 20% ‘Republicans’ & 10 % “Independents’....I can certainly get poll answers which may parallel the results from my poll which are what the person PAYING for this poll wishes to hear & tout all day long on the BIASED media. Some networks sing to the same old songs, each & every election.

I live rural. We almost all have some sort of large animal out here.

IF I were to poll downtown Pacoima & ask them how many large animals they have & then poll with the same questions a rural area like where I live, I would get entirely different answers.

Polls can be so craftily twisted that I really no longer pay alot of attention to them.

Post your source or get the ZOT.

That would make for a very elderly zotee, Triple goes back a long ways!
