The tax burden is the last thing I’m worried about for future generations.

Sometimes things are so rotten to the core, you have to abandon or tear them down and start over. I’m at that point with the GOP-e. Not salvageable if Romney prevails.

My sentiments exactly. Shall I light the match and fire up the bulldozer? The GOP is dead to me!

There is a difference between a party that neglects your issues and a party that is openly and actively hostile towards your issues.

I’m not saying give up. Fight like cats and dogs and rabid bearcats to get the nomination for Newt and then to make him president.

But if the party elite manage to force Romney on us, I can promise you he will move to the left in the general and declare war on conservatives. He can’t afford to leave us standing if he gets in the Whitehouse, he will need allies in the House and Senate. If it is Romney, conservatism is in danger.

If Newt works to win this thing, no one can stop him. He didn’t need Santorum to kick Romney’s butt in SC.

That worked on me with Mccain but it won’t this time. If Romney gets the nom I will stay home.

If you don’t vote for the republican nominee, you are voting for Obama.

BS, and to enable the GOP is the worst thing we can do.

If you don’t vote for the republican nominee, you are voting for Obama. And if you are voting for Obama, you are not a conservative. Any of the 4 republicans are more conservative than Obama. Don’t let your emotions cloud your senses.

That's not going to work on me anymore. If Romney is the nominee, I write-in. My vote is MY vote, and it won't go to someone who is opposite of what I hold dear.

If you don’t vote for the republican nominee, you are voting for Obama.

If you don't vote for Gerald Ford, you are voting for...

If you don't vote for Bob Dole, you are voting for...

If you don't vote for John McCain, you are voting for...

(Enter Sonny and Cher) ...and the beat goes on, and the beat goes on.

Well I went out to eat today as I usually do on Jan 31 which was my Mom’s birthday...

She was born 100 years ago today...

I usually think about her and what she and Dad taught me...

My Christian and Conservative values came from them..

and to love and respect and appreciate America...

Eventhough neither of them either lived here...

I tried not to worry about what was happening in Florida...

cause it aint over by many states..

I got back to the house a few minutes ago...

Romney 48% to Newt 31% 28% reporting..

Thats shameful...

Just how many stupid people live in Florida ???

I should have stayed at OCharleys and had a slow dessert with another cup of coffee...

Too bad for you this is an ANTI-ROMNEY website. We will continue to bash Romney just as much as we bash ZERO.

That is a fact. Romney supporters will continue to be banned. Don’t look for any support for Romney EVER on Free Republic. As it should be.

If Romney is the nominee, he will lose in the general. I will vote my conscience. Your reasoning could be applied to those who vote for Romney in the primary, as a vote for Willard ultimately is a vote to return Obama to the White House.
