I'm with you on this one. The opportunity of the ages to significantly defeat the Democrat corruption and American Liberalism with conservatism is squandered with a field of subpar candidates.

Romney in office guarantees the Obama and Beltway establishment status quo. Romney doesn't have my vote. Ever.

Just answered my own question. Looks like they didn’t call it “The Great Depression” until 1934. http://hnn.us/articles/61931.html

Five years after the crash that started it.

It pays to literally smear your opponent relentlessly. There are enough gullible and suggestible people out there who will start to believe a lie if you tell them the lie enough times. That’s what Mitt’s plan was from the beginning and he followed through.

It was the relentless attack ads, not the debate.

You're right about Newt's failings in that debate, however. He wasn't prepared for Romney's new coaching. By design, the debate came off substance and into gotcha attacks where Newt struggles to be effective.

Byrons wrong.. Willard won by a few points because republican WOMEN voted for him.. its really that simple..

Many republican women THINK they know what went on in Newts marriages when they DON’T... and could care less what a man goes through.. The women is ALWAYS right with some women..

Amen to that... he would have me lock, stock and barrel if he employed what you’ve prescribed...

I’m in WA state and I’ll be cacausing for Newt. Based on what you said, I’m not sure it will do any good, but we’ll see.

Romney’s attack ad approach goes all the way back to Nauvoo, IL. You don’t like how someone’s criticizing you? Don’t answer their charges; use any means to destroy them instead.

Lol. Yeah, those scary Mormons invented Politics 101.

The situation in WA State with the GOP is worse than you can ever imagine. I know because I am at ground zero for the basis of the plan.

What is happening in WA State is Agenda 21 coming to full fruition with the help of the GOP. What they are doing is turning the job of governing over to the NGOs, who will manage all the money, controlling the purse strings and setting the priorities according to their own agenda - and the Republicans are helping them because they think that their projects mean JOBS. In some cases they are actually working against themselves and they don’t even know it.

I’m a Santorum supporter, but I am thinking of caucusing for Newt because I don’t think that Santorum will get any support in this state. There are just no real conservatives around here and anyone but Mitt seems like the way to go.

Thanks for the info - I haven’t heard that. I’m going to try to go to the next Eastside Rep Meeting (in Bellevue).
