she is trying to impugn your motivation by linking you to romney

if she can do that - it means noot is not a screwup and will be on the va ballot

let me divine her motivation

she wants to bait a flame war

I am happyest with Newt being he would drive the liberals nuts and whoever wins this primary season is going to win, it is just a matter of whether we get moderate or conservative, and we know moderate is slow liberalism.

Perhaps this is why Noot's people couldn't qualify for Virginia; apparently he employed people like you to read and interpret the requirements. What I said was: I have a difficult time believing that anyone who wants to be President can be so inept as to not qualify for a state like Virginia’s ballot., NOT that they were too inept or too incompetent to be President.

But, if you think calling everyone who thinks it was a bad miscalculation by Noot's campaign to NOT fully read and understand the requirements, and FAIL to qualify for Virginia supports Ron Paul or Mitt Romney somehow makes Nooters look better, or less inept, knock yourself out. Keep blaming everyone but the one responsible for his failure. This is precisely why so many people are uncomfortable with Noot. Not only does he employ liberal attack methods, but so do some of his followers.

You people are why we have problems. Vote with emotions. I am sure Rush is happy today. Mr. Goldman Sachs hit a home run; thanks to the carpet bombs. We are in a fight for reforming America with a liberal at the top of the ticket. No wonder people do not want to vote.

Good post. Mitt and his vile minions attack Newt for his personal transgressions in the past. Newt is human and has failings like everyone else on Earth.

What is paramount when selecting a candidate is their governing philosophy. Newt has a factual record of Conservative achievements.

I don't like his weakness on man-made global warming. However, the primary governing philosophy of Newt is much closer in line with our Founders.

I truly believe Newt will commit to repealing Obamacare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oaxly (sp).

Mitt's DNA, his entire governing philosophy is ALWAYS to increase the power of the State. Mitt's factual record is one of selecting government over the individual.

Mitt worships at the alter of State Power. He seeks the office not to reign in government, but to satisfy his evil, craven ego. Mitt could not care less that our Republic is about to be lost.

One thing for Obama, at least he is honest enough to never to lie and run as a Conservative.

As for Rush, I turned him off last week -- and feel happier. I have listened to Rush since the late 80's. I was astounded how he tried to weave a path of viciously attacking Newt at the most vulnerable time, all the while giving praise to Newt only after the damage was done. Rush has lost me as a listener.

Our Republic is truly at a crossroads. This election is about a path to Liberty or down the road to a Socialist Hell. There will be no peaceful way back from the latter path. Rush knows our Republic is on the precipice. Yes, Rush is the master of espousing Conservative values and ideals. But, on Bloody Thursday, the very moment when it mattered most, Rush chose the path of weakness and betrayal. Rush knows in his heart that Mitt would be a disaster.

In the end, all Rush has are his words. He is incapable of putting it all on the line to help save our Republic.

For all his faults, Newt instincts are on the side of Liberty. With Mitt, you are certain to have someone who will always side with State Power. It is my conclusion that Rush chose to side with the Statist.

Attaching yourself to a person, rather than to principles will get you Obama.

But at some point, don't we HAVE to attach ourselves to a person? I agree that it is not beneficial to say that only X will get support, but at some point in this process, we gotta pick SOMEBODY or else this also leads to getting Obama.

when noot wants yet more government programs to ‘instill a work ethic’, its hard to argue that noot is conservative

no conservative would look to another big government ‘solution’ to every problem on the planet

noot does

Yes, ultimately you have to vote for a PERSON, but saying ONLY X can carry the conservative mantle is asinine. Saying I’m only going to support X, even if they aren’t in the race, even if they are dead, even if they don’t exist but in my mind; that’s the only person I’ll vote for because they are the oooooooonnnnnlyyyyyyyyyyy one isn’t advancing any principles, only a person.

Voting for and supporting X because they got the nomination of your party and they best represent your beliefs is a little different, don’t you think?

You’ll probably could check the Sunday Morning talk show threads to find a reference to it, but to sum it up Axelrod was saying Romney never gets over 25%, and Florida got Romney at 46%, therefor, Romney punked Axelrod

There is no perfect Conservative. Heck, go to heritage.org and research Reagan. He proposed workfare programs. No one would argue Reagan wasn't a Conservative. Reagan helped turn our Republic towards Liberty.

Newt isn't perfect but are you telling me that Mitt is more Conservative than Newt? If so, that's beyond laughable.

By no means is Newt perfect, but I do know that he can turn our Republic back towards Liberty.

Mitt would continue the path to a Socialist Hell. If anyone thinks Mitt would do anything Conservative, I would say they are delusional.

Did you speak on the mandate and the Catholics earlier?

I’m going to a meeting at 1011 (NY Archdiocese), to request by Obama’s said date, ALL Catholic institutions will be shut down; Let the city pay. From soup kitchens, shelters, schools/universities, free clinics, adoption/foster care agencies, hospitals, and of course refugee resettlement and pulling our agencies from overseas that go out from this country, etc..

Many have called me mad.

Time to separate the wheat from the chaff, the rams from the goats and get down to the remnant. If they didn’t realize the churches teachings aren’t a cafeteria last election, it’s time to choose their flag... Christ or the world.

Just a heads up; It’s not like I have any power... Thanks be to God.

OT: LOL, you’re gonna fire people over this re: vote. Hilarious.

No. Read the thread. She says everyone who didn’t qualify for the VA ballot, which is everyone except Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, is too incompetent or inept to be President. She obviously doesn’t like Ron Paul. That leaves Mitt Romney.

Is this your first run on the Rush Live Thread?

i think we agree on most of your points

sad that it does NOT have to be either of them - because both are so flawed

i went down with bachmann, going to go down with santorum and will probably try to go to noot next

if not, i’ll let everyone else decide and back whoever gets the nod
