Floridians traditionally have trouble with voting.

I dislike that we let little weenie states and obvious incompetents
take out candidates before the real PEOPLE get a say.

Luv it!

I like the idea that Gingrich is now rolling up his sleeves, and the Establishment Elite are being attacked for what they are: Romney-the-RINO boosters!

Newt CLEARLY has a strong argument here, where the Party is held to its own rules (they used the Party Rules against Gingrich in VA to keep him off the ballot, so now it's their turn).

If not winner take all, I assume proportional. The delegates would be split between Mitt, Newt, Rick and Paul with the lion’s share to Romney. This is still much better for Newt than nothing.

I assume SC was proportional too?

Heh.

I’m not sure how easy it will be to bring suit against the Republican Establishment when the Republican Establishment is both judge and jury. But this could provide some VERY useful publicity, if nothing else.

The short version: RNC cheats.

Please let this pan out!

Anyone know what the new break-down of delegates would be if Newt prevails?

Excellent... and I hope he tears up Willard's bony ass... Newt is really burning his last few bridges to the GOP establishment behind him... I'm in!!

  Washington-delaware-l

Newt Gingrich is looking to make history...

Again.

In December 1776, the future of America hung on the fate of a bedraggled army barely a step ahead of annihilation. When the British fleet arrived in New York, an American soldier marveled it was as if “all London was afloat.”

After several devastating defeats, his troops exhausted, Washington decided to cross the Delaware on Christmas and surprise the British in Trenton.  If the raid backfired, the war was likely over, and he would be captured and killed.

Washington’s troops crossed the river that night, in flat-bottomed boats, tossed by ice floes and raging winds.  Once on land, they marched nine miles to Trenton in a driving snowstorm.  Washington considered calling it off, but he'd come too far.

Arriving at Trenton, the spirited troops surprised the British, and the battle ended quickly, 1000 British killed or captured, to two American combat deaths.

Washington followed with another victory at Princeton, and several after that.   In the space of a few weeks, American troops irreversibly changed the dynamic of the war.

In other words, a moment in history when a few ALL-IN men changed the world.

Newt Gingrich is looking for ALL-IN men and women to stand up to the power brokers and playmakers in Washington, DC

Great-they set their rules now let’s play hard ball to make them keep their rules in check. I think Newt can win this thing if he keeps focused and stops arguing with Romney about not being a conservative and so on- Stay on the topics, Newt. Let Mitt call you all kinds of names, the people out here can settle that part. Stay on the Issues where you are the best at. if someone speaks to Newt in high places, advise him to stop arguing with Mitt. They are doing this on purpose, Newt.

Damn straight Newt! You go boy! If it's their own rules, shove it right down their collective establishment, moderate-loveing throats!

Schadenfreude!

I think it’s a preemptive strike to keep the RNC from changing the rules again and awarding Romney ALL of the Florida delegates instead of the half that they were sanctioning them for changing their Primary date.

What a poker player. I wonder how long he knew that. Obviously, if he won, he wouldn’t mention it I suppose.
