Perry was never angling for the VP spot. He’s got a better job than that in Texas.

Try to paint with a smaller brush.

I posted that before the real war started.

This is ridiculous people.

There was a group of dissidents who used to come onto Perry threads back when he was still in and post lies and hideous comments about Perry. Know their names but don’t know why they did it.

I finally discovered that if one doesn’t respond to them at all, they finally droop their nasty little heads and go away.

It’s hard not to respond when it is so obvious that you are right and the other person both idiotic and wrong, but why can’t we try it for a while.

Fighting with each other is not going to get anything done, except perhaps give Romney the election.

The next few contests will sort it out so can we wait before we kill each other?

I don’t read other people’s mail. Period. Have problems enough reading and responding to what’s sent to me. Don’t wish to be involved in the problems of others.

Minor correction, but major change to implication. I took Surfer’s question to mean what should he do about posters that irritate him. My answer was that ignore usually works for me. It was meant to be general in nature and not about a specific person.

Now I see how quotes supposedly from me sometimes get all balled up and twisted.

I might also add that when posters no longer allow me to ignore them, and insist upon elevating the problem beyond mere irritation, sudden problem solving actions sometimes take place.

Groan...

I don’t like this, obviously. It shows campaign organization problems.

But Newt Gingrich has the same issues in Missouri and both Gingrich and Santorum have the same issues in Virginia.

if Santorum dropped out, it would split between Romney and Gingrich

Not if Santorum dropped out and endorsed Gingrich.

Manc, I have but one question for you: If, say, Santorum or Romney got the nomination as the Republican candidate, would you back them for President of the United States?

I saw you was pinged.
Never said anything bad about Santorum and would vote for him, that is not the argument here.

As for Romney , he is another obama, no difference on any issue, ,health care, homosexual rights, planned parenthood, spending, , he’s another liberal and I did liver for a bit up there with my wife when he was Gov.

like many on here, infact a lot on here unlike the FL board I will not help, nor support, nor give money , nor vote for Romney and i will do a write in like so many on here

Thank you! Your answer is quite enlightening! IMHO, a write-in, or no vote at all, is like a vote for Bowbama!

I’d agree with that if we had another nominee but when one thinks and sits down about this issue then I cannot see any difference from obama to Romney.
Homosexual agenda
military
foreign policy
spending
pay offs
planned parenthood

My wife is from there up in MA, I lived up there and we remember Romney very well.

That’s a really unfortunate major, campaign killing error...
I feel sorry for his supporters and volunteers who worked their behinds off only to be thwarted in their plans like that.

And yet, Obama will likely have no problem whatsoever being put on the IN ballot come November. Santorum has more of a right to be on the the Rebpublican primary ballot than Obama does on ANY Ballot in the country regardless simply because he’s actually Constitutionally Qualified to BE the President.

This country seems to get more distressing every day.

Now have you or anyone ever seen a candidate in last position attack a candidate in 2nd?

Your entire arguement is sophistry! To make this arguement you have to be either incredibly ignorant or willfully obstinate!. You know why Santorum is campaigning against Newt...their BOTH in this at this point for the anti-mitt vote!

You are obviously blindly devoted to newt...consequences be damned. And thos consequences will be catastrophic! If newt's our nominee he will lose in a 40 state landslide! He loses women and independents right out of the gate! He'll be lucky to get 40% of the vote! If you think beating obama is going to be a cakewalk you've got another think coming. This campaign will be sheer bloody hell and that's the kind of foght newt can't win. He's undisciplined, thin skinned, and venal. But if you want to support the re-election of obama that's your perogative.

Well, don’t hold back. Attack away. I will remember not to support Rick now for sure.

Newt’s big mouth and lecherous eyes help Romney.
