A hacker group known as Anonymous took responsibility Friday for defacing a website and stealing files and emails from attorneys who represented Camp Pendleton's Frank Wuterich in a case involving the deaths of 24 Iraqi civilians.
Wuterich's lead attorney, Neal Puckett, confirmed the intrusion and apparent theft from him and his partner, Haytham Faraj.
Puckett said he has filed a complaint with the FBI over the hacking.
The group that got into his website says it plans to release information it found about the Haditha case. Puckett said he is equally concerned about the theft and possible release of confidential matters between the attorneys and all their clients.

Haditha Marines Ping.
Gotta wonder who did it.
Anonymous is getting out of hand. They somehow got a FBI conference call also.
The Bradley Manning Fan Club. Bunch of fairies.
They were very busy today. They also hit the Boston PD...
I agree! I’m a techie, and I follow IT security very closely. It seems to me like they’re hacking to show everyone that they can and no one’s safe.
It’s sad, really.
“It seems to me like theyre hacking to show everyone that they can and no ones safe.”
They love to wave their little weenies in everyone’s face.
It’s part of a coordinated effort to destabilize law enforcement (local, state, and federal), IT security, and political organizations.
World War III is coming sooner rather than later, and I’d bet the catalyst will be leaked data from some government or law enforcement entity somewhere in the world. It’s coming. Storm clouds are roiling.
They can release anything they like, the man has been found not guilty and cannot be tried twice.
Personal information. This could be very bad.
It’s being reported that this is “300 GB of emails and other communications”!!! This little Dell desktop of mine maxes out at 80 GB on the hard drive, IIRC.
That is one huge file!
I wouldn’t be surprised if Holder was having the in-Justice department assisting these hackers. They are attacking instutitions that Obama wants destroyed to insure the communization of this country.
I’m computer illiterate and won’t even think about downloading something like that, gonna leave it up to you experts. :-)
Opening files at random—there are so many. Nothing I’ve opened so far is related to Frank. Everything so far has to do with other cases and office business.
I'm not downloading it either. I'm not even sure my system could handle it.
I just hope the perps are rounded up. They're thieves and should be treated as such.
>> Its being reported that this is 300 GB of emails and other communications!!!
I’d say that’s digging a little deeper than just the ‘website’.
It does not surprise me a bit this happened.
The talk of the iraqi’s mounting a civil lawsuit against Frank makes me think that may be the reason behind this.
Trying to steal information to get that rolling.
There are some iraqi’s with money to spend. I mean, after all, we GAVE it to them.
Earlier reports were saying 3 GB, so I’m not sure what the actual number is.
Whatever it is, it would probably choke my DELL.
All I know is my computer tells me this:
Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB
Available Physical Memory 192.43 MB
Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory 1.96 GB
It’s a massive amount of material. I’m already going blind and I haven’t seen anything of any significance.
WW III is coming, and we’ll have not quite enough soldiers to fight one war. But they’ll all have been thoroughly prepared in sensitivity training. Ditto for the navy.
If it contains classified information or sensitive personal information, and if you hold a Government clearance, you CANNOT download it.
Nothing would surprise me, but any suit would have to be in a US court, and they'd sue the Feds, not Frank. I think a lawsuit is probably just Raq bluster.
BTW,I'm no lawyer, but since this stuff is stolen, is it even admissable as evidence?
Hello MV Brass,
Regarding our music history program - Now that the script and music surgeries are assembled (thanks, and "wow", to Owen!), we are at the stage of playing thru repeatedly to achieve a smooth rehearsed flow for continuous delivery, starts, and consistent running time. This will now allow us to run the program through completely once at subsequent rehearsals for about an hour, work out rough spots, and start working on other music pieces.
Also as we discussed last Friday, in an effort to be flexible in scheduling, we hope to "season" our practices with some times other than Friday nights. As discussed, we will rehearse this coming Saturday, Feb 4th, at 9 a.m.. This will be a shorter-than-normal session so as to free the rest of our day. (We'll run the history progarm only.)
Rehearsal will be at Aldersgate, but not in the choir room. That is booked for the church choir. Suggest you still enter via the back entrance. I'll have us set up in either the Gubeck Center, or one of the larger classrooms in the middle wing.
Yes they are, and pathetic thieves at that. Anyone that would support that twit Bradley Manning is scum and should be treated as such.
OK Buddy, That's It! Back Away From The Computer, You've Completely Lost Your Mind!
Here’s a newflash! Puckett got an offer to save up to 77% on fitness classes in Northern Virginia.
Oh, and as of Tuesday, 3 January, the main parking lot in front of the Arlington Clubhouse became part of the construction area. They claim that they will have 15 parking spots and 7 handicap spaces in this area. Additional parking will continue to be available in the North Parking area.
I’m not saying there’s nothing here—but it’s all crap so far.
I'll bet they're a flock of flaming fairies.
Lets hope every damn one of those emails are just as irrelevant as that one, it would sure burst those turkeys bubble.
No doubt in my mind that they are!
This is just painful. Spam, offers, ads. Nothing relevant yet. I’ll start again tomorrow.
Well, good hunting, brother. It’s apparently over 100,000 emails, you could be rummaging around for a while.
In one thread, Neal Puckett accepts congratulations from a friend on January 25th for securing plea deal. "Thanks, Ginny!" he writes "We were all over the TV and Internet. Google me!"
There's so many emails that they don't have the manpower to check this out for weeks. They're relying on hundreds of people on the Internet to uncover something for them and if anyone comes up with the slightest thing they'll blow it up out of all proportion.
I say screw them, if anything is found it should be conveyed by email so they don't have access to it.
Exactly, I should have included that.
It's a pretty smart idea.
First of all, shame on this law office for not having better internet security. Second, I prefer that all of this stuff be dumped on the public in its entirety rather than hoarded and teased out for months. Third, remember that it was a similar dump of emails that exposed the "global warming" scam and killed that malicious scheme before real damage was done.
I will be very interested to see what comes out of this.
I’ve been following some of the twitter feeds. One guy stumbled across this:
LOL! Rolling Thunder & Sarah Palin! Neal Puckett just went up a notch on my good guy scale!
Here’s the twitter feed..
I hear you but I’ll be surprised if anything astonishing comes out of this.
They should have had better Internet security, if for nothing else just to protect their private conversations. If these emails start disclosing attorney client info with the many clients they have had it’ll be bad news for everyone.
And with me too and that's a great pic of the Palin's.
And there’s this....

So far, #Haditha e-mails are less a scandal for the law firm and more for the Marine brass; witness intimidation coming up quite a bit

Thought it appropriate to link it here. The Convening Authority just referred all charges against Bradley Manning that he goes to a general court-martial.
It just hit me, that's LtCol Allen West in the right foreground!
GREAT NEWS INDEED!!! We don’t do firing squads anymore, pity.
It sure is. Good catch!
It is a pity, Smooth. If convicted that’s exactly what that little fag deserves.
Of course if he’s convicted and gets life or something like 25 years to life the leftists are going to scream like Banshee’s.
The louder they scream the better I’ll like it. :-)
