Thanks for letting me know. A Freeper friend told me she read that Newt was on the ballot in most TN counties but not all. She also said that citizens could petition to be able to write in Newt in those counties where he is not on the ballot. I really don’t know where she read the info she told me. Thanks again.

I hope the mess in VA gets straightened out so all the candidates can be on the ballor. I heard that Romney and Paul did not have to get signatures since they ran for office in 2008. That they were grandfathered. Wonder if that is true?

I heard from another Freeper that there is a petition out in VA for folks to petition for the counting of write-in votes. Hope votes for all the candidates will get counted.

To: who knows what evil?; All

“No vote for Romney under my roof...death before dishonor.”

Amen - well said! Taking out Romney is just as, if not more so, important to me at this point than taking out Obama. Obama is a obvious evil - Romney is chocolate covered poison. That makes him and insidious evil.

Mittens won in New Hampshire - his home state.

He won in Florida - overrun with New Yorkers and liberal New Jerseyians.

He won in Nevada - state with a large Mormon population.

Only time will tell if big money can BUY an election.

The only good thing you can say about Mittens is he isn’t Obama. But if there is ANY chance this guy can be derailed, we need to work towards it. Four years of Mittens will be like another four Years of Bush II.

but there is the risk of having a splintered party.

What do you mean "risk" of a splintered party?

The party has long since splintered between the establishment RINOs that support Romney, and Conservatives/Tea Party members.

If the GOP RINOs manage to get Romney the nomination, there won't be a problem with the party splintering, because there won't be any more Conservatives left in the party - we'll go elsewhere. We've been bending over for the RINOs for decades, and we're done with it.

A RINO gave us Clinton, another RINO gave us a second term of Clinton, another RINO gave us Obama. Now, another RINO by the name of Willard Romney is hell-bent on giving us a second term of Obama.

No I mean the write in candidate has to be a legitimate, registered write in candidate.

I remember reading about it on the TN state site and it said something about having to be registered with TN to be a legitimate write in candidate. The deadline is something like 2 months before the primary or some such thing.

If Romney is the eventual nominee, and I believe that he will be. This was, in my opinion, what the Bush-obama was for; to ensure obama that Romney would be, by hook or crook, the nominee, obama will not even have to campaign. The media will do his campaigning for him. He will be attacked with a savagery that will make the attacks on George Bush seem as child’s play. The attacks will be merciless and unrelenting each day, each hour there will be a smear story on him until the election is over. His wife and children will not be able to recognize him. They [the media members] already have the stories typed, all that is needed is for them to be dated and filed.
