I’m not a fan of any of the guys currently running, but the best thing Santorum could do is drop out and throw his weight behind Newt. And the sooner the better. Why? Newt has run a horrid campaign since South Carolina's anti-Mormon vote. He has no coherent, consistent message, and seems to be flailing right now. Why should he be anointed with some special status. Let him earn it.
