Just back from caucus in South West Colorado Springs Results:
Santorum: 42
Gingrich 15
Romney 50
Paul 1
Thank you South West Colorado! That’s pretty countryside.
FIRST I want to say.....I didnt know you were from MN! :-) Howdy neighbor!!
Secondly...I just got home from my Caucus, and the vote (in order of numbers) is
1. Santorum
2. Paul
3. Romney
4. Gingrich
Thank you, MagUSNRET.
That’s ancient news. Besides, people are voting for him, not her.
Any day Mutt, Kenyan and the 5th column take it in the shorts, it’s a good day.
According to Yahoo...6.6 precincts reporting with Santorum still winning in Colorado!

He needs to lay off the Red Bulls and 5 hour energy shots.
That’s as bad as the ex-wife showing up for the interview on Newt. Ancient news. And no one bought the leftist ploy.
CNN already has CO colored in for Romney.
We are out of Mormon territory now, (for the most part) and it is going to start shaking out this way....
If Rick should win the GE, Wolfie will have to be put on suicide watch.
There are two debates, an Arizona and Georgia one before Super Tuesday. Looks like the March 5th one was cancelled though.

I’ve been saying for a week...this will be Rick’s night!
CNN already has CO colored in for Romney. Do they know something we don’t know? Or is the fix in. :(
I’m starting to think the White House did that on purpose to make Santorum surge, just to throw another monkeywrench into this race. They probably see the worst case scenario as Romney finishing early, focusing all his attacks on Obama from now on and starting to raise the big anti-Obama cash.
can you see how some here find it baffling that y’all are focused on the straw vote?
What about the delegates in the caucus?
I just left the MN GOP caucus for district 50A (mid-northern suburbs of Twin Cities). The turnout was huge, about 300-400 from a district of 50,000.
When asked how many are attending their first caucus about 40% raised their hands.
Based on applause I’d say it was Santorum first, followed by Romney, with Next and Ron Paul in rough a tie for third. I wasn’t able to stay for the final tally.
Thanks. The interesting thing is that they cancelled the Reagan Library one which is probably one that would have had some “more” conservative monitors.
If they begin to draw their bunches against one another while both hammering Mittens we may see.
Newt/Santorum or Santorum/Newt I could proudly support.
That's some thinking I could get behind!
Sounds like I, we, need to send some serious money to Rick
Go for it. You think you have more money than Mitt Romney, knock yourself out. Romney bought Iowa for Little Ricky by carpet bombing Newt, and he will take possession on Super Tuesday. Like he said to obama, “we’re here to collect.”
I’m sure I will not be the only one sending money to Rick. Santorum backers seem to have something else in their favor. A God, the one and only, who hears our prayers. Thank You God!
Step away from the tinfoil and come out with your hands up.
s/Next/Newt/
Ugh, let’s just hope they have to eat humble pie tonight.
I will be honest and say...that at the caucus I facilitated, I did speak in favor of Gingrich..but framed it thus.... With the depth of the trouble in Washington, I do think someone who knows their way around that beaurocracy would be a better choice...that being said, I see Santorum as the junior partner who learned from Gingrich, and Gingrich learned from Reagan...And since the corruotion in DC is NOT relegated to only one party...I prefer someone as POTUS who can tell them how the cow ate the cabbage”
I like both Santorum and Gingrich, but I see Gingrich as the one who would regain our respect around the world....I think Santorum is a bit too green.
CNN calls MN for Santorum. CNN has the best coverage unless you want to listen to McCain whine on FOX.
Hey that Santorum kid is doing pretty good in Middle America tonight.
Prayers for little Bella. And for her dad.
Yes, sir. There’s a butt whipping going on tonight for Romney. And I like it. :-)
MN no heart Newt. :( Last place, ouch, babe.
We might have taken another small step closer to that this evening.
The problem is the Ron Paul people are involved in a plan to pack delegates with their guys and try to steal a brokered convention. Newt and Rick people should be staying after the caucuses to sign up to be delegates themselves if they want to win a brokered convention.

Newt being last here is a bit of an ouch...but he is STRONG in the South....that being said...Im delighted for Santorum and LMAO that Mittens is getting a WELL DESERVED whooping!
WOO HOO!!!
link please? I’m giving Huff unwanted hits for Colorado results, because she’s way ahead of CO GOP.
Great, I want to see Willard’s head explode.
Well, if Newt can cobble together enough southern states and Santorum can nail middle america...I think we can say good bye to Willard...Willard brings nothing to the table, the GOP is never going to carry Mass in the GE and little chance in Michigan also.
Nice not knowing you Willard.
I never pay any attention to the MSM media. I have listened to both looney Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan. By the way, have you read any of Buchanan’s books? I agree that the media likes to smear our candidates, but sometimes, like in Rick Perry’s case, it is the candidate’s own mouth that kills him. You need to pay more attention to what Pat Buchanan actually says. Your opinion of him might just change.
QFT.
We needed a great showing from Santorum, and got it -
We needed a weak showing from Romney, and got that too.
Hopefully Colorado will come in favorably.
I think that’s what’s going on. That Santorum will take the Heartland and Newt will do well in the South, and it’s adios Romney. And we like it.
I wish I could get one of his sweater vests, but last year I donated fhe maximum allowable by law to him when it looked like he might not even have enough to make it to the Iowa caucus.
Current standings in the delegate race:
Romney 101 Gingrich 32 Santorum 17 Paul 9
Oh geez...
When Buchanan was running for President, I heard him speak in person. What a kook! Can’t believe he has credibility with anyone. Excellent VP for Ron Paul.
HI :-)
I am not one to wear tin foil on my head...but sure as chit...in my caucus precinct, the ones that JUMPED at the chance to be delegates were the RuPaultards....they are trying to load the conventions...thankfully, I “persuaded” some NOT ROn paulites, to also become Delegates...to cancel out their votes LOL
That interview is actually what destroyed Newt.
People (even the media) have missed it because it didn't affect the South Carolina primary. It took time to propagate through women. But ever since, Newt's gender gap, which was already bad, has become a disaster.
Here in NE JeffCo (just my precinct, don’t know overall- left early)
Romney 14
Santorum 12
Paul 7
Gingrich 4
I opted for Newt but should have done Santorum. I would have meant something then. I’m fairly unbiased between the two, but I assumed Newt was ahead. I was apparently dead wrong.
Sorry Karl. No dice. I will keep supporting Newt. GO NEWT GO!
I was saying just that at work today.
It also gets the focus off of the economy and makes it about religious and social views.
Were any of the ads positive toward himself?
Were the attacks negative against one or more candidates?
Is it possible that Romney cannot win unless he targets the candidate closest to him with million of dollars or attack ads? Well now he has two targets.....Wonder if he has enough money.
Outstanding Commander!
