He sounded pathetic and sad at his speech. I think he was trying to convince himself of the BS he was trying to peddle. The whole time he looked like he was one second away from blarfing.

OK, I understood that tonight fetched no delegates, so MN is like the IA caucuses. Over what period of time does the pyramid run? When do the actual delegates to the national convention get selected? And do they include the elected federal and state GOP officials, or are they in a separate category, like the Dems’ “super delegates?”

It’s fascinating how these races in the primary season differ from state to state.

“The “Real” winner tonight is Newt.”

I have been thinking the same. Sadly, he only got 35% of the vote at my caucus, and santorum only got 10.

I have to say though, the Paultards were out tonight!

They came in as a group and covered all the bases. As if they were trained for the mission. They got 65% and tried very hard to take over all the delegates and alternates for the convention.

In Colorado, there are a lot of people who did vote Gingrich anyway, even though the strategy starting in South Carolina was supposedly to vote for whoever had the better chance of winning.

And unlike Florida, where 100% of Santorum votes couldn’t pull Gingrich past Romney, it’s clear that in Colorado, Gingrich votes will turn out to be the spoiler votes that might give Romney a plurality win. Santorum might still pull it out, but it’s harder fighting both Romney and Gingrich.

Teh people gave a msg to Newt tonight: be more presidential
and less “angry”, and get back to the same styles of
debates that he did in NH and SC. They only temporarily
withdrew their support and will go for Newt very soon again.
RS is happy tonight, but thats just about it, he doesnt
have a lot of substance to bring in to the table.

Mesa County (along the UT border) just came in strong for Santorum: 47%-36% Romney.

Alamosa has small population and it’s mostly just college students (which would explain more that it would go to Romney over Santorum (but not explain why they didn’t go for Paul).

Gunnison is way more conservative than Alamosa. They’ve got a lot of old family farming / hunting people live there.

Any outcome other than a muslim messiah or a mormon god for leader of the free world is a win...if Pauly Shore can read the preamble I’ll take him for CIC over Ro/Ob...

Doesn't matter what they say at this time or in the future. What we are seeing tonight is what the final results will be. There is no way that O'Romney will trounce over the south and midwest.

Go Newt, Go Rick

Would you shut up? Tonight is Santorum’s night and deservedly so. I’m a Newt fan, but I am thrilled for Santorum. Let his supporters rejoice in his hopeful hat trick!

Agreed.

All three of these contests are non-binding right?

I believe only MO is non binding. Delegates will be awarded from MN and CO.

Exactly, the chess pieces are looking good for Newt.
Rick is just like Newt’s sidekick LOL.

You need a big bold leader, and I dont think anyone
can say that from the heart that they heard anything
big from Santorum in his debates.

Tomorrow is 2nd Quarter of the game...

I was wondering about those. Springs is pretty conservative I’d imagine? It was when I lived out there 20 years ago. What about Pueblo?
