Because it basically means that his greatest propaganda tool doesn’t work on me.

I’m a Texas Baptist and disagree strongly with Catholic theology. Therefore, the whole “I’m a Christian” thing butts heads with my problems with prayers to Mary, Saints, co-redemption, and so on and so forth. It neutralizes the propaganda and makes me immune, which allows me to weigh Newt and Santorum on an equal level without caring about all the pictures Santorum puts out with his wife and kids, with all that heavy makeup he wears and the sun shining and rainbows and puppies, etc.

My home state of Colorado voted to kill pro-life initiatives, twice. Its a moderate state, what you would call a “swing” state. Yet it voted against Mittens on his strongest stomping ground - voting for a social conservative candidate. Mittens isn’t out but he’s in serious trouble after his big Florida and Nevada wins.

with all that heavy makeup he wears
Nixon didn't want makeup for the TV debates - how'd that work out for him?

Ronald Reagan said that nearly all movie actors had to wear heavy makeup or they just looked terrible on the screen. Reagan himself wore it at first, because that was the default - but someone suggested to Reagan that the next time he participated in a screen test of some newbie, that he not use the makeup to see if Reagan would be OK without it when he was acting for an actual move. Reagan did that, and afterward was allowed to act for movies without bothering with the makeup.

It was ironic when Reagan was running against Governor Brown, that the governor dismissed Reagan as "some actor in makeup" - but when they went on TV for a debate, Governor Brown was the only one wearing makeup.

The fact that he was able to act for the cameras without makeup wasn't what made Reagan a great president, tho . . .

When is Florida going to officially take those 50 delegate votes away from Romney that he didn't earn and split them between him and Newt? They are in violation of the rules that only FL primaries held on or after April 1 is "winner take all".

Waiting...waiting...waiting...

The rule is that "winner takes all" states cannot hold a primary before April 1.

Congrats to Rick. I am sure these wins will help him in his fundraising efforts.

You are right but mittens is still holding on to the full 50 delegates that FL allowed for having their primary moved up before April 1st. He shouldn't still be able to claim them. Instead, they should be divided between the others. What I can't understand is why it is taking so long to take those numbers down from his tally. If it stays at 50 when we go into the convention, their will be an interesting fight on the floor about this. Would be funny if the FL 50 causes him to lose the nomination on a technicality.

I think all 50 delegates should be disallowed.

Chihuahua Romney - the Magic but ineligible, backstabbing RINO:
"Me. Me. Me.
I am entitled. Me. Me.
I chose. I decide. Me. Me. Me.
BAIN, Marriott, and I already destroyed every single
other potential conservative candidate, and
BAIN and I already PAID everyone in the media
FOR MY nomination.
So, it is MINE. MINE. MINE. "

Prediction (just guessing): Romney implodes. RINOS stampede in panic.

Romney failing AGAIN would be really sweet. I could vote for Santorum, but a Romney vote is out of the question for me.

You raise an interesting possibility but I believe they’re way too invested in Romney and they’ll double down. He’ll go Tonya Harding on Santorum if the next round of polls looks bad for him.
Jeb Bush is not an option. Mitch Daniels likewise. Bad as Romney is, he is better than any other RINO they could put forward.

So, who is the historical nitwit, the caller or Santorum? The French Revolution influencing the founders in the Declaration of Independence? Did she mean the French-Indian War, or did Santorum say the French Revolution?

the elite GOP don't want to wet blanket all of that mittens enthusiasm so they will wait until they think it doesn't matter

can we now be spared the wisdom of the FOX ALL STARS?

enough of the Bill Chrystal, Chas. Krauthammer, Ted Baxter, Bret Beahr, Toyko Rove, Ann Colter, Sean Wannabe, et. al. Romney cheerleading squad

It's time for some honesty - the rank and file don't want mittens and don't want to be TOLD he's the chosen one

.

I don’t blame Santorum for endorsing Romney over McCain in 2008- Compared to McCain Romney was a conservative.
