What is the rate for returning these incumbents - something like 90%. Yea, they are really worried about that poll.

Just this morning a detailed list of the ear marks where these butt holes have been helping themselves and their family members was posted here. Everyone of those scum listed need to resign.

And therein lies the problem... most people being surveyed probably think, "Well, my representative is OK... but those other 434 guys stink!"

Yes, It seems that we have lost the “United States as a Republic” battle.

We have so many corrupt Democrats in office that it seems to be insurmountable. We have so many corrupt Republicans in office that it seems insurmountable.

When both parties are corrupt and the people (over 50%) are benefiting from their largess...can there be any change?

By comparison that should be about 5 times the job approval rating of The Won.

These morons keep insisting that they are "doing the job they were elected to do." Nothing could be farther from the truth. With their approval nown down to 10%, I suppose they can keep pretending everything is fine, they continue to do whatever they feel like, and nobody will notice.

On the bright side, the 2012 elections, for most of them will look like happy hour.

There must be a way to prevent their collecting their pensions for the damage done to all American taxpayers, for decades, now.

Gallup: Congress' Job Approval at New Low of 10%

And, you notice how worried they are about it, too!! Yep, they're losing a LOT of sleep over this.

/sarc

Here's the deal: I have posted this before - WE are the insane ones because WE keep doing the same thing over and over (reelecting the same people to the same offices in Washington) and, each time WE do, WE expect a different result!!!

If WE want to change the behavior of our electd representatives in Washington, WE must FIRST change our own behavior and STOP voting for incumbents!!!

Theres no such thing as a do nothing congress. There is a do nothing Senate, which the media never talks about. This allows Obama to blame a “Republican led” Congress

In my district, we had taxation without representation for over a year, while the leftists paraded their puppet around. And, they did it because of the idiots who worship politicians and “the state,” instead of God, family, country.

These polls are foolish - we see them year in and year out but the reality is that somewhere around 80% to 90% of incumbents get re-elected in both houses of congress.

They should save their time and money when the results so clearly fly in the face of reality.

This is a totally meaningless poll. Rephrase the question like this:

“Do you expect to vote for the Congressman who currently represents your district.”

And you will get 80% or better approval. People don’t hate their Congressman, they hate yours.

Look at the demographics of those 10%-ers. Those are the people with motivation to participate in political activities today. They have the money and the time.

Yep...everyone hates congress and assumes it is the other peoples senators and congressmen that are to problem and they vote their ‘ok’ guy or gal back into office.

Just say NO to Incumbents regardless of party.

We only can influence 4 people in DC, the president, two senators and your congressman.
