My View: Why not a right to a college education?

because the world needs ditch diggers and garbage men too ???

But just think how much better garbage service would be if all the garbage men (now there is a disparaging term, as if they are garbage, or even all men, you insensitive .....) had to have a BS degree in Basic Garbage Technology, or a Master of Advanced Dumpster Emptying & Compacting, or a Doctor of Solid Waste Management Systems.

Or if ditch diggers had degrees in Ditch Digging, with emphasis specialties in either Shoveling or Picking; or advanced degrees in Mechanically Assisted Trenching.

Garbage men (There’s that disparaging term again!) and ditch diggers are entitled to have the carreer enhancements and self esteem that a degree confers, just like MABBS Master Grillers (Master of the Arts of Burger, Bacon, & Sausage) and BA Deep Fryer Operator (Potatoes) or other degreed graduates of King Wendy McDonald’s Culinary College (Fast Food Division) do!

Boycott the university next Fall!

How many lab credits will we get for participating in it?
Is extra credit available for street theater demonstrations?
How much are the strike benefits?
Do we have to show up every day, or can we just sign in & leave?
Will the dorms and cafeterias still be open? For free?
