Santorum himself made stinging and uncalled for attacks on other Republican candidates in the debates. The only reason he didn't air many negative ads is that he hadn't much money.

Actually Santorum's campaign is running a negative ad on Newt in Ohio.

Poor kettle is calling rich pot black.

Santorum went after Gingrich aggressively in Missouri, where Newt wasn't even on the ballot.

Santorum adviser John Brabender said an ad will be running on national satellite radio, along with another, spot already airing that casts Santorum as a stronger conservative choice than Gingrich. The idea is to criticize Gingrich for proposing fiscally irresponsible, pie-in-the-sky ideas when base GOP voters are deeply concerned about the deficit.

“We’re putting an ad up today addressing Newt Gingrich’s comments on the moon colony idea, which has been estimated at half a trillion dollars to build what he wants to do,” Brabender said

Newt has NEVER said that the idea will be accomplished with public money, but that he counted to enroll private companies to achieve a great program and not leave the space to the Chinese and Russians who are heavily investing in it.

Santorum possesses a petty mind.

Watch Newt Gingrich speech at a town hall discussion in Cocoa, Florida, south of Cape Canaveral. He discussed his policy on the future of the U.S. space program. January 25

This was a link I got from a Republican women’s group — don’t know how effective these onliine petitions are, but I signed it, at least.

“Newt has NEVER said that the idea will be accomplished with public money, but that he counted to enroll private companies to achieve a great program and not leave the space to the Chinese and Russians who are heavily investing in it. “

And why in the world would private companies want to take on something that will cost a half trillion dollars with no potential of making any profit?

If you really want to compete with the Chinese, we could start by not owing them so much money.

“When has the wonderful Newt strood up for Rick ?”

He stood up for all of the candidates when he decried the MSMs attempts to foment conflict at the debates or their continuous attempts to funnel Obama talking points into all of their questions.

He was always taking the high road. Didnt matter if it was Cain problems or Perry’s stumbles. Even he tried to stay positive when it came to Bachmann’s attacks.

Newt has NEVER run an attack ad on Santorum, while Holy Ricky ran them against Newt while he was being attack by the GOP-E in Florida!

So you will have to pardon us if we hope that Newt doesn’t lift a finger in defense of that worm.

Okay, now that he has said this, he needs to move on and not let reporters constantly goad him into attacking Romney or Gingrich.

He can say something like, “I would prefer to use my time explaining to the voters what I plan to do in order to reverse the damage that Obama has done.”

Atlanta, GA -- Newt 2012 National Security Advisor Stephen Yates shared the following statement in response to Senator Rick Santorum's criticism of Newt Gingrich's American space policy:

"I am deeply concerned that Senator Santorum so easily relinquishes space development to the Chinese and Russians.

"American success in space is not only about being the first to develop a station on the moon. It is just as much about the explosion of math, science, engineering and national security technology that will launch America into a new age of innovation and prosperity.

"We owe it to ourselves to set grandiose goals and then achieve them. It is the American way."

-—He is FAR from perfect but is a humble willing servant-—

He’s a staunch defender of life, which means that he has a good will. And a good will is more important than a great intellect.

OTOH, Odumbo is a staunch defender of infanticide, which should be all that needs to be said about him.

Ahh quit your complaining, it sounds like a lot of Newt supporters are living off the fumes of sour grapes... not classy in losing I see ?

No, back in Iowa Rick Santorum said he was going to take the high road, but, since Romney wants to play dirty need to mud sling back at Romney.

" Santorum showed me that he is a small man when he stood by and let mittens savage Newt. Now that mittens’ smear machine is attacking him, Santorum suddenly cares.

Santorum is a loser. I listened to him several time when he substituted for Bill Bennett on Fridays. He struck me as not to bright. After all, how bright do you have to be to call someone, “Macaca.” "

No, on the contrary, it sounds like Newt is not the winning powerhouse that Newt supporters thought he was going to be with all the bravado that we have been hearing here on FR for the last month or 2.

It sounds like the Newt supporters are the losers, that is ? Sorry Losermen..... living off of fumes of sour grapes because Nootey is not winning.... grow up and stop complaining..

All this " Rick is a small man " because he stood by is all in your head and imagination, Rick took the high ground , that is ? until Romney unloaded on him, so Rick has no choice but to mud sling back at Romney..

I am sorry, Rick is not going to drop out so Newt can get his crown and throne so the Newt supporter can he happy.

This is not the coronation of the king .

The only strength that the Newt supporters have harped about is that Newt is good in debates, and that is not helping Newt out at the moment.
This is not American Idol, this is the election of the next president.

The Newt supporters need to grow up and stop complaining because Newt is not doing well.... you guys sound like a bunch of sour grapes.... it does not look good...

It's all in your head and imagination.... that's exactly what the MSM , Democrats and Liberals said about Ronald Reagan.
The MSM and Liberals would call Ronald Reagan a dunce... they would portray Ronald Reagan as dumb... and you are following in the foot steps of the Liberals and the MSM by saying that Rick Santorum is not to bright...

Ahh grow up and stop your complaining...
Sour grapes...
You go on how Rick took advantage of Newt in Missouri and attacked Newt in Missouri and Newt was not even on the ballet there.... however ? I see a lot of Newt supporters, and even Newt himself attack Rick with a Ron Paul hit piece ad where Rick's words where taken out of context, or making hey out of something that Rick did not even say... yes, the Newt supporters and Newt himself is trying to make it look like Rick is against the Tea Party and attacking the Tea Party when Rick said no such thing....
That attack on Rick by Newt and Newt's supporters is just as sleazy as the Mitt Romney machine....
