Open, concealed, as long as he’s on board with the concept.

You have to admit though, a candidate standing on stage with a well tooled leather holster peeking out from under his/her suit coat would solidify a lot of support amongst gun nuts like myself.

Blaze orange and a brand new trap gun don’t impress me. Blued steel with shiny spots on the high points and a well broken in holster? Now that would impress me.

The Santorum hunting picture on this thread was from a hunt with Rep. Steve King in Iowa.

Considering (as I understand it) all the conflicting regulations from one jurisdiction to the next, I know I would be extremely careful before taking a gun on a significant trip.

The Reverend Rick “me too!” Santorum, doing his best “See! I'm a CONservative too!) impression photo op. Complete with his barely been used, over-under and his shiny blaze orange “I'm a hunter too” jacket.

Nice try Reverend, but those of us who have spent a lifetime feeding our families on wild game, see through this circus act.
