President Obama, in a compromise aimed to quell criticism from church leaders and conservatives, said Friday that he will allow Catholic institutions in California and across the nation to opt out of a federal requirement that religious-based employers provide free birth control to their employees.
The move, which would revise a Health and Human Services Department rule by allowing those employees access to free birth control via their employers' insurance companies, sparked mostly positive reaction from women's and religious organizations as well as California Democrats meeting this weekend in San Diego.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a practicing Catholic and mother of five, strongly praised Obama for "showing leadership in a very unifying way," and "for his ongoing commitment to women's health."

Pelosi told all of the liberals to vote for Obamacare or else. What a surprise to her that the Catholic Church is not bowing down to her wishes. Poor Nancy, she isn’t ruling the church.
If the Catholic Church does not start excommunicate these politicians over this issue, then the Church is hopelessly lost and has succumbed to the darkness.

If they’ll give Ted Kennedy an “annulment” after 30+ years of marriage and continually provide communion to these evil abortion-supporting scum, they’ll turn a blind eye to this latest egregious slap in the face of the faithful. I guess the principle of “leading by example” is as outdated to the Catholic hierarchy as the Constitution and the rule of law are to the socialist-loving demonrat. Unbelievable...
How can this woman, (or anybody for that matter,) call herself a practicing Catholic? She is a vain, selfish, lying, scheming, thieving, greedy, pro-murder, pro-homosexual madwoman who lives in her own reality in some alternate universe where evil is good, wrong is right, and truth is whatever heretical fantasy she is living in at the moment.
