Create a lie. Repeat it. Repeat it again. Get outraged if some group goes against your lie that you created! Unreal but people are dumb.

the other reason I got a little bored with him is that he gets on some ‘talking points’ and seems to repeat them daily for a week or so. In thinking about that now, perhaps that’s not such a bad thing - many listeners of his show don’t read FR and aren’t as ‘intune’ to the happenings of the day as we are.

I think the deliberate purpose of this is, he's on during drive-time when people are going home from work, maybe stopping at the store on the way.

Anyone who only catches a half hour of the show will probably get the jist of his message, sort of like listening to an all news station...it just keeps repeating.

In this case, it's a combination of news and opinion. You might well get bored inside of three hours.

Yes, I was dissappointed in Brazile and her comments. She should see how dangerous this is, especially as a woman.

Sarah Palin on Fox, - considers anyone allowing the govt to grow as the problem....the establishment.....They are doing just fine regardless of how regular AMericans are doing/hurting.

Shocked at Jack Lew’s spin on the contraceptive issue. This is about freedom of religion. Govt is mandating to private companies what they must provide.

On unemployment - real numbers are much higher because of the folks that have dropped out of looking for jobs. The average American knows things have not improved.

On Mitt Romney- thinks he’s a great candidate. We have a great slate of candidates. Wants to see the competition continue.

Palin says the party needs a candidate that has instinctive conservatism beliefs....it’s too late to teach them. Thinks Romney is evolving in that direction. Mentions Obomneycare (lol). Not convinced Romney is there....a lot of people aren’t convinced.

Comparing Newt to Romney - Newt has that historical perspective of America - this historical knowledge can be put to good use going forward.

Palin on the movie about her campaign - people portraying her and her family have put more people to work than any of obam’s plans. lol. good comeback.

Having a health insurance company that isn’t funding abortion will no longer be a customer option, seems that’s already been settled, like global warming science. Again, when does a Democrat get asked if a normal healthy pregnancy should get terminated in abortion? And why would some else have to fund terminating a normal healthy pregnancy if they were against doing it?

I saw that as well. It was disgusting to the point of being close to vomit-inducing. It is a symptom of how thorough the decay has become.

I see FR is acting up again. I think Paul Ryan said it best this morning (regarding the decision to force this on everyone)....if obama is willing to do this in a tough election year, what is he capable of forcing after he gets elected.

I do agree that our guys should be all over the shows and pounding what the issues really are! I believe Boehner is a Catholic, so he should really take a stand on it.

McConnell actaully gave a fairly good speach at CPAC and did address it there as did most of the other speakers that I was able to listen to. But, that’s not enough - as you said, they need to get on these shows. Hopefully, they will do so next week; and, perhaps they’ll have a larger audience if they discuss it on the weekly TV shows.

Fox News - Kristol says Santourm is now the conservative alternative to Romney. A Romney win is not a foregone conclusion.

Mara Liason - Wallace shows numbers that shows less voters turning out to vote in these primaries. Mara says less are showing up because Republ aren’t enthused about the candidates. (in other news, scientists proclaim water is wet). Mara says Romney seems to win only when he spends millions of dollars obliterating his competitors.

Evan Bahyh - the “sweet” spot is the small percentage of independents (yeah, that’s the ticket, Bayh)

"Where is Newt?"

They'll make a concerted effort to give him as little face time as possible! Why?

Because the "establishment Republicans" know Newt is not one of them and a genuine articulate Conservative who'll do what he says regardless and when wrong, admit it, eat humble pie which none, including "Arlen Spector Rick" will do and that scares the hell right out of them.

How did they allow McConnell into CPac? Was McCain busy?

Yep, Palin during her speech yesterday also mentioned there wasn’t time to be teaching someone what being conservative is.(paraphrased)

Or to boil it down ROCKLOBSTER-style:

Since when is killing babies "healthcare"?

Should anyone care, I go for Santorum over Romney.

Last night I heard some Fox News pundits all atwitter over the fact that Romney won the straw poll at CPAC.

He did, at 38%....dear Lord this is no great victory. This is hardly any rousing base endorsement of Romney.

Now I’m hoping Santorum surges ahead. the establishment doesn’t want to hear the message the base is desperately trying to send. I’ve said it before and shall say it again, as is my wont. The establishment will reach across the aisle with manicured nails but will rip off the head of their base and crap down the bloody stumps of their necks.

I predict that if Romney gets the nomination the media and establishment GOP so desperately think he should get for his “electability”...AND Romney loses to Obama, the Republican party will splinter apart and a new party will be formed.

I hope the Blue Blood GOP knows what they do with their worship of Romney and their hold on their cushy power doesn’t cost us four more years of Obama, effectively, as we all well know, the final destruction of this country.

Getting service unavailable errors. You’d think this was the Sunday morning talk show thread and that there was a Freepathon going on.

Keep hitting refresh folks, it’ll go through.

Liberals believe that the fewer food eaters the better and saves money for their all powerful gummit. Off to worship the one true God.

Pray for America

Santorum’s income tax plan has a lot to be desired; 2 rates, 10% and 28%, it’s still a progressive tax policy, and 18% difference? Is 28% for ($200,000) millionaires and billionaires? I want to know where the line is. I don’t buy being just right of the Democrats is a conservative solution either.

Disclosure(supporting Newt), I still think Newt has the best economic plan.

First time I’ve seen Jack Lew too.

He reminds me of that mad scientist portrayed in the science fiction comics from the 50's...the one leering into your face in the operating room as he is about to transplant your brain into the body of a gorilla.
