Which 2nd Amendment votes? I've been following that issue for 20 years and from what I remember, Santorum's one of the better ones out there.

Romney's about as bad as Obama on that issue. He signed a ban. R

Here is a good list from Freeper: editor-surveyor: Rick Santorum’s Senate voting record Below is the Gun listing from his post above:

Voted to require pawn shops to do background checks on people who pawn a gun.

Voted twice to make it illegal to sell a gun without a secure storage or safety device.

Voted for a Federal ban on possession of “assault weapons” by those under 18.

Voted for Federal funding for anti-gun education programs in schools.

Voted for anti-gun juvenile justice bill.

I thought Rick was fairly Conservative. I have been spending the past 10 days reading up on him. At best he is a fiscal moderate-to-liberal. His instincts seem to have him turn to government as the first solution on economic matters.

The fiscal situation in our Republic is dire. Rick, being trained as a lawyer, does not seem to be strong on gutting government and letting Freedom reign.
