For the second straight year, President Obama is seeking to decrease funding to joint U.S.-Israel missile defense programs.
Tucked within Obamas 2013 budget proposal is a request to reduce the amount of money Israel receives for its critical missile defense systems by $6.3 million relative to the 2012 budget proposal. Among these defense systems are Arrow and Davids Sling, both of which are jointly operated with the U.S.
Publicly, the president has referred to himself as a stalwart champion of the U.S.-Israel military alliance. But administration efforts to reduce the amount of missile defense aid that Israel receives appear to be a growing trend in the presidents budget proposals.

Instead of getting bent about a lousy $6.9 million not going to a foreign country which can afford it already, people should be talking about the nearly $1 billion in cuts that the Missile Defense Agency is set to take in 2013, to include shelving the SBX radar by cutting its budget from $176 million to $9.7 million, as well as major cuts to THAAD, Aegis, GMD, and PAC-3.
No, you don't. Doesn't mean that Israel shouldn't defend itself, though. Doesn't mean that Obama isn't on the side of the Evil One, either.
All of these cuts are atrocious. Iran is developing nujkes. Teh Saudis promise their own response. But Obama cuts defense. And the American people see nothing of this treason because of the media, and their own sloth. The world is burning, but I can watch idiots sing on “reality TV”.
