Judge Andrew Napolitano Signs Off From The Last Episode Of Freedom Watch
MEDIAite ^ | 10:17 pm, February 13th, 2012 | Frances Martel

Posted on 02/14/2012 6:22:10 AM PST by GonzoGOP

Judge Andrew Napolitano closed his show, Freedom Watch, tonight with the same message of awareness of civil liberties and adherence to the ideals of the founding fathers he did every night since the show went on the air in summer 2010– except this time, it was the last time the show would air a new episode. Starting this month, Freedom Watch will be replaced by reruns of The Willis Report.

Great! Maybe the FOX team can create a new show called “The Six”. You know, instead of watching 5 liberal morons at 5:00 PM everyday the audience can watch six liberal morons at 8:00 PM. Fox is going down the tubes.

I hope Glenn Beck hires him. They have been friends for a long time.

I’m surprised the Judge didn’t get canned sooner for being willing to take on the big government shibboleths and insisting on following the constitution and rule of law.

I have to admit he had a great opus. I wish our Paulistias and Romneybots could wright theirs as well. If you are going to ride the lightning, you may as well do it with style and class.

I may agree with the two parties becoming the same. With there being no difference between Romney and Obama. But vote for Paul with his foreign policy? Not going to happen.

What a shame that Fox made this decision.

All they leave us with is people like Shep and Hannity. Fox is really going down. They are so big; don't care.

These are the same folks who shut down Dave Ramsey's show. You'd think that a business show would want to keep someone who always gives very good advice on how to manage your finances.

Their stated goal to be "Fair & Balanced" is accomplished by having liberals like Shep Smith, Juraldo Rivera, and Chris Wallace on their shows. Thank goodness I use a DVR so I can skip through all of these segments. You'd think that keeping the Judge to support the Constitutional view of things would also contribute to the "Fair & Balanced" ideal.

I thought they had really jumped the shark this morning by giving Debbie Dingell face time to explain how the Democrats really could take back the House this fall.

Isn’t that the truth. Fox is getting rid of every true conservative. They are morphing into CNN.

And so the judge falls in behind ED Hill, Gibson, Beck, etc. (God only know how many others) leaving only the faux bimbo brigade and their brand of trvth...

Quite fitting, actually, for the sleeping/slightly stirring giant/drunken, football mentality, stumblebum (for the most part)....
I calls ‘em as I sees ‘em—lipstick on a pig just don’t cut it!

Semper watching!

I hope he has better sense than to sign on with Beck. Glenn has become a disgrace.

Well, Stossel is the only good show left on Fox Business...

Wouldn’t surprise me if they got rid of Stossel sometime before Summer...

And way too much of Geraldo and Juan Williams. CNN is actually a little more f&B than Fox these days.

Glenn has become a disgrace.

How so? He has an extremely successful online TV network, and sounds the alarm on overreaching government every day. Do you watch GBTV or listen to his radio program?

"How so? He has an extremely successful online TV network, and sounds the alarm on overreaching government every day. Do you watch GBTV or listen to his radio program?"

I used to. I liked his Fox show, I listened to his radio show, and I subscribed to GBTV for a short time. There were red flags along the way, beginning with the way he used to lump Jesus Christ in with MLK and Gandhi, as "three men." But he's gone off the rails in too many ways now. The constant bashing of Newt and the promoting of Romney sickens me. The endless moralizing in that pious tone of his, while conducting a smear campaign against Newt, doesn't wash with me anymore---Beck is in no place to preach to anyone. His tendencies toward treacly, warm and fuzzy, New Age stuff rub me the wrong way---"Restoring Love"? Really? And what about the Israel rally? IMO it was a good thing, but for a while he was all about Israel, and after the rally, not another word---on to the next obsession and the next big super-secret announcement that would change the world.

Beck's ego is out of control, and I think he's becoming the nasty person he says he used to be when he drank. The last straw for me was when he referred to his audience as his "followers". I think he really sees himself as some kind of prophet.
