I remember watching him with Golden State last year and liking his game. I never thought he would be this good though.

That’s great. Tebow’s example has offered him a good example and encouragement in the faith.
Nice, humble young man who says “we” (the team) instead of “I” (as if it had been his own effort).
There is definitely something happening here. I feel as if God is making some kind of move with the way he is using Tebow and Lin to inspire people.
They both have the potential to bring a lot of non-believers into the fold.
Asians are tuning into to watch Lin, and while they’re at it, they’re getting the chance to hear about Jesus. There are not many Christian Asians.
I am paying FULL attention to this, not only because I am a huge sports fan and find Tebow and LIn to be inspiring, but because I think something is up.
30 turnovers in his first 5 starts. He has to improve on that. On the good side, 136 points in first 5 starts is a record. He seems to do what Tebow did -— make everyone around him better.
He needs to improve his defense as well, but it’s still a great story for a good young player.
There are a lot more than you think. There are more Asian Christians than there are Americans...of any faith.
That will be the end of the love affair the lamestream media has with him. He’ll be Tebowed.
No wonder I haven’t heard the after game interviews from this young man. Why would the media give an outspoken Christian a platform?
Good to see Harvard didn’t beat the Atheist into him. I don’t follow the (NB)Association at all but I might now.
Yes he does have to improve, but those of us who remember the great Bob Cousy remember that it took a while for his teammates to adjust to his style of passes. Plus all of the Knicks are working to learn D’Antoni’s system. Lin will be a fine player for years to come. Super star? we'll have to wait and see but boy what a start!
No interviews before because I think he was 13 or 14 on the depth chart and was close to being cut from the team. His run started just 5 games ago when given an opportunity.
He’s doing it all without Melo or Amare so that is very impressive. He’s an amazing player, Golden State actually dropped him so he is showing them what they lost
I see a lot of bashing of Harvard on this forum, but, because someone I’m very close to went there, I knew many kids from Harvard. The young man that I know was a classmate of Jeremy Lin and knew him pretty well. I didn’t ever meet Jeremy, but this guy I know has nothing but good things to say about him and would talk about him periodically over the four years he spent at Harvard. Every single one of the Harvard students that I met (and there were dozens) was respectful, intelligent, and grateful for the opportunity. I’m sure there are exceptions, but that’s certainly not what I saw.
Sounds like the good Harvard students decide to stay away from politics.
