That is what is going on - another thread on FR has a link to the seattle-PI paper. The maternal grandparents were putting together a “no-contact” order of sorts to stop Josh from being buried there when they heard the plans that Josh’s parents wanted to bury him with the boys.
The cops heard too - and bought the adjoining plots.
And FYI - Josh’s dad is in prison for having porno (little kids?) and homemade voyerism movies (including some with the boy’s mom). Some have speculated that Josh’s dad had something to do with her missing. The Powell family seems pretty messed up.
It would seem to me that the cemetary owner would figure out it wasn’t good for business, and a huge risk of vandalism if Josh Powell was buried there and just refused burial.
Have Crimestoppers funds been used for other burial plots?

Thanks for the additional information. I haven’t been following the story, I just thought it weird now that he’s dead that we were spending crimestopper money on the burial plots.
When I die, I want to be eaten by zombies.....
