Authorities in Switzerland have confiscated $6 trillion in counterfeit U.S. bonds at the request of Italian prosecutors, authorities said Friday.

Really now, $6 billion I could understand, but $6 trillion? What's the point? Especially with bonds dated from 1934...

It did, but not that high - below $100 billion IIRC.
I know inflation is out of control but that is ridiculous. You’d think they would be satisfied with another 100 billion.
These bonds could be the real deal, and the money WE are currently using is fake.
Just a lesson guys ~ there's "thought fraud" and "real fraud", and "real fraud" gets the full attention of the Italian carabinieri AND the Swiss authorities. You'll notice they didn't just pass notes to each other about this one ~ they sent armed men with the authority to shoot babies if need be!

$6 trillion would be a perfect amount to engineer a collapse.

This is still a story with far more questions than answers. It’s odd, though, that it’s not garnering more media attention. Interest is likely to grow. The last thing Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke need right now is tens of billions more of U.S. bonds -- or even high-quality fake ones -- suddenly popping up around the globe.

By coincidence that is almost exactly the amount of debt Obama has written since being sworn in. So I suppose he thinks it’s no big deal.
