“Rev.” Santorum (whether right or wrong) may do well in the primaries, but he will surely turn off a major portion of the general electorate if he continues mix preaching with politics.

To me, Drudge is giving the headline of how the left is attacking Santorum. Santorum gave a spiritually related speech to a group meeting about spiritual/religious topics. And I believe that Satan is focused on destroying the Christianity in this nation through those who preach secular humanism and socialism. This nation is under attack on a spiritual and political level.

Him saying God told him to run,etc is only helping the MSM making him look at a religious nut and it did not help by backing out with RINO, Romney in the debate.

Yeah, I know Santorum is not a hypocrite like Bill Clinton and Algore, who always show up at churches at election time and go into preacher mode, but dems are expected to do that and are given a pass. No republican candidate will be given a pass.
If you are a Santorum supporter and you want him to “shut up” about religion, then go support another candidate. Go ahead and support Obama. We all know you won’t do it. I suppose you’d rather we all be quiet until Sharia Law suddenly has its boot on our necks.
You're right and this gives him some chance to back away from this sort of thing, but if he continues down this path he is toast in the general election.........no doubt about it!!
