[People are too easily offended.]

Now they’re not, they lie in wait for these slurs and then use them as a blunt force instrument for their own wicked agenda.

I Binger the Apostate worked hard during the summer of 99' re-chinking this historical building. Hope I don't offend too many by saying the original chinking was accomplished in 1938 by a Chinese worker. Maybe I will now say I re-caulked it, however that sounds sexist if I silent the L out of it. Caulking that is.

I guess from now on instead of saying "a chink in the armor" I will have to say "a gook in the armor". PC is really messing with my vocabulary.

Democrat Rep. Judy Chu is a “Chink in America’s Armor”.

One’s a country;
The other is a continent.

Its also a derogatory term, which is the context for its use in this case.

True; but I feel that he did not intend it to BE offensive; as many things that USED to be HIGHLY offensive are regular words coming from 3rd grader mouths these days.

I disagree. There really is such a thing as a chink in armor when there’s a hole in it/the armor breaks and thus becomes weaker.

Frankly, I knew all the epithets as a teenager. That was not yesterday. I had to THINK about how this was considered an epithet in this story. I don’t know anyone who even thinks like that, or, any people of about 20 years old who would even know what that is without research.

This is a non-story for me that only serve to reintroduce the term.

Does this mean SPIC and Span should be banned, too?

Another great example of how far America has fallen.

I object to the double standard of which ESPN is a prominent example.

Many of you seem to think racism is funny. I don’t and think those who do are scum and lower than whale shit.

No, it's not funny that the Left's clever invention has become a object of faith for the Right!

It’s not racism.

Racism is something entirely different. You are a wonderful loving person. At least I’d think so except for the little matter of calling people scum and whale shit.

The Rangers have just signed a pitcher named Hu. We’ll all love him dearly if he gets us tht pennant we’ve deserved for two years.

But the jokes have started.

This morning on Facebook, my own daughter posted, “Hu’s on first?”

I think we can do better with the Hu jokes.

Don’t take offense.
