Rolling My Eyes. Every now and then I see posts disparaging the good people of AZ because of McQueeg, and it makes me do that with my eyes.

Thank you, and sorry to be offensive regarding Arizona. It is a great state. Just need to get rid of McQueeg as you call him, he has worn out his welcome everywhere.

Thank you Arizona for Gov. Brewer and Sheriff Arpaio, very refreshing and encouraging for our future. Lord please give us more of these types. Go Arizona.

Just another reason why McCain is obama’s go-to-man in the Senate. I think obama has him on speed-dial. Lindsey Graham is also on his speed-dial, but further down the list. obama’s thoughts are if you have a sure winner, don’t change horses Y-E-T, but be ready just in case.

Imbecile.

If anyone accuses you ... or me ... of offering an overly-simplistic view of John McCain, I plan on pleading "Guilty."

That's because John McCain is actually quite the simpleton. In a weird way, he's like that fellow what's-is-name over in the WH. Both had their skids greased and the way made clear from day one in their lives. At least in John (Dumb John's) case, we know it was the McCain family and not spooky international characters like George Soros!

John, a terrible student well known for nutty behavior and some very hard drinking, was pushed into the Naval Academy. About to be expelled, pressure from the Pentagon kept him in. He absolutely could not handle the course work, but was tutored, pushed and God knows what to graduate, somehow. When he did graduate, he was pushed into Flight Training, . He was pushed through to his 'Wings of Gold' over the objections of his flight instructors, a couple of whom, legend and Navy lore has it, were hounded out of the service by the various and sundry Admirals MCCain and their friends. The real McCain, John's Dad, died the day after VJ Day! Since then, John has reaped the sympathy support!

As a pilot, with no hand-eye coordination and known for no common sense, he was an absolute and dangerous disaster. He was well known for getting lost ... over the Chesapeake, among other more exotic places ... and finishing off enough planes to qualify as a "Jap Ace." His capture by the Vietnamese caused many a fleet air arm maintenance man to actually breathe a sigh of relief! As a pilot, John never "got it."

You're right. Like Obama, he believes his every waking thought to be a brilliant idea. By the time he was through with the Hanoi Hilton, he was a permanent mental wreck. The Navy should have thanked him then for his service to the country and pensioned him off, or put him in a home.

Now all we can do is be wary of his disservice to country and try to keep him in check. There are plenty of fellows around who served with him. Just ask them, and then you won't even have to listen. Just look at the way they will roll their eyes, shake their heads, and turn away. Sad, sad case.

It sure as hell doesn't say much for the voters of Arizona.

Senator John Sidney McCain III could have been a North Vietnamese ace, not a Jap one. His grandfather, Admiral John Sidney McCain (posthumously granted his fourth star) died on 9/6/1945 of a heart attack. He had suffered from blood high pressure and the stress of the war killed him. Admiral John S. McCain, Jr (January 17, 1911 – March 22, 1981) was Senator McCain’s Father. He was a quite living captain, when his son was at Annapolis.

Sorry. Never could keep all those darn McCains straight. This is no defense, but OTOH, All the McCains couldn't keep John all that straight either.

BTW, "Jap Ace" is what we called a guy who wrecked or severely damaged a number of aircraft in my day, which was considerably after the unpleasantness with the Mikado had ceased. In fact, my day was during John's day, and before his capture the guy was a pretty darn well known doofus in the yanking and banking fraternity.
