That leaves us screwed. Romney has proven he’ll just spend whatever it takes to smear Newt in campaign commercials. If Newt rises and Santorum falls, they’ll simply split the anti-Romney vote and Romney will win.
The scope and breadth of Newt’s intellect is head and shoulders above the others. He can say in two sentences more than anyone I’ve ever heard. A pleasure to hear. I sincerely hope he gets to debate Obama.

Yes I agree. Santorum alternates between petty attacks and his soapbox and I don't like either. I would have to rank their performace as follows thus far: Gingrich, Romney, Paul, Santorum

When Mitt scores, he does not help himself because, well, he is still Mitt. He helped Santorum in Florida and elsewhere against Newt, and tonight Santorum’s struggles are demonstrating that Newt - who is brilliant tonight - is the best to beat Romney in the short run and Obama in the long run.
