Obama expresses 'deep regret' over Koran burning(But will he apologize to us when our flag burned?)

US President Barack Obama sent Afghan President Hamid Karzai a letter of apology over the burning of copies of the Koran overseen by a US officer at a US military base, Karzai's office said Thursday.

Obama said the incident was unintentional and pledged a full investigation, the president's office said, as fierce anti-US protests swept the nation in which at least 14 people have died, including two American soldiers.

"I wish to express my deep regret for the reported incident," Obama wrote in the letter presented to Karzai by US ambassador Ryan Crocker. "I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies."

"The error was inadvertent; I assure you that we will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible," the letter said.

Karzai told members of parliament that a US officer was responsible for the burning that was done "out of ignorance", his office said.

The incident at the US military base at Bagram north of Kabul sparked three days of fierce anti-US protests in which at least 12 protesters were killed.

You do mean Obama, don't you? Our first Muslim President said he would side with the Muslims, don't you remember that?

Not exactly. Bush was complicit too. Just look at Gitmo. It has become a Madrassa, with the most radical inmates setting the policy. US Soldiers have to hold the Koran wearing white gloves, as they are "infidels." All meals there are strictly Halal. All accomodation is given to prayer times, etc...

This sort of thing used to annoy me, but then I realized that Democrat apologies to anyone, “on behalf” of anyone—especially the United States, and on any subject are empty and meaningless.

They don’t mean it. They don’t care. It is like a painted cardboard sign of a man with the caption “Have a Nice Day!!!”

Whatever.

But it has gone even beyond that. If you think about it, when a Democrat apologizes, he does it as an *insult* to the offended party. He is *enjoying* the offense.

It’s like a little boy who calls somebody “ugly and stupid!”, and when their mother grabs their ear and tells them to apologize, they say “I’m sorry—that you’re ugly and stupid!”

So what is Obama really saying?

“You’re a bunch of ignorant savages that worship a primitive mud god and are only offended because someone has thrown a few coins at you and told you to form a rent-a-mob to scream at the Americans, and given you an American flag to burn.

“I am going to pretend to give a ****, because I know that American soldiers are kicking the snot out of you primitives, and will continue to do so, so all you can do kick up dirt like a pack of baboons and screech about how offended your mud god is and how he’s going to smite us, etc. The usual meaningless crapola.

“So on behalf of all Americans, I would like to say we’re sorry for having desecrated your beloved and truly sacred book. Have a nice day.”

However, a simple internet search showed me several places to get get one free of charge.....I just ordered five (I plan on starting up the charcoal grill for some baby back ribs in the near future).

Two of the websites also had links where you could request a visit to the nearest terror training ca.....I mean mosque.
