WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush, described as very upset about a Muslim leader being ordered out of the White House, issued an apology Friday for the incident.

``The president is very concerned that an action was taken that was wrong, inappropriate and the president apologizes for it on behalf of the White House,'' press secretary Ari Fleischer said.

A group of Muslim leaders walked out of a White House meeting Thursday, angered when a uniformed Secret Service officer ordered one of them - Abdullah Alarian, a congressional intern - out of the building.

Secret Service spokesman Jim Mackin later said his agency erred in ordering Alarian out. Once the Secret Service realized its mistake, it offered Alarian re-entry, but the group declined.

``In this one instance, the Secret Service made a mistake. The president is concerned about it to the point where he does apologize,'' Fleischer said.

Just a reminder that Obama isn't the first President to be apologizing to Islam and kowtowing to them.

Of interest, the guy removed was the son of Sami al-Arian the Florida prof who would eventually plead guilty to supporting Islamic Jihad.

The entire Bush clan is up to their necks in Islamophilia. Remember George walking pinky in pinky with the leader of Saudi Arabia? Remember the Islam is a peaceful religion speech? Remember the efforts to protect the mosques and madrassehs used by these maniacs after 9-11? Remember him spiriting away he FAMILY of Usama Bin Laddin after 9-11??

So MANY politicians on Both sides are pandering after Isloamo-dollars - Daniels, Christie, Obama, nearly the entire run of them.

Muslims are at war with the west - every mothers son and daughter of them. They are using Mosques and Madrassehs here to recruit native born Americans into their madness. They are undermining OUR COnsitution, laws and traditions by INSERTING anti-Constitutional Sharia Law here.

When are we going to WAKE UP?? When its too late? When they start burning down churches and synagogues here? When they start killing Americans for trying to convert THEM to Christianity?

WE should declare Islam an anti-constitutional, anti-western political ideology, STOP anymore from coming in here, deport all of them and destroy all their mosques and madrassehs - NOW. While we still have a CHANCE!

If we don’t we TOO shall go the way of the Byzantine Empire and the Persian Zoroastrians.

Apologizing for incorrectly handling a White House guest is clearly not the same thing. It is clearly appropriate to acknowledge the mistake. Go away.

We are going to see alot of this. Tie GW to the current conservative movement. Anything O does wrong, just find a similar time GW did the same thing and voila! All of a sudden Bush did it makes it OK. So for this election anything GW did is somehow brilliat and the mark of a true statesman. They were calling GW a moron a few years ago. Guess what? GW was a long way from a conservative. I am glad he was our President at the time he was, but the fact that he did something in no way makes me reflexively agree.
Reagan was a great President overall, but I don’t agree with circumventing Congress to bribe terrorists and shuffle the money to other terrorists “on our side” in Central America. Neither one gets a pass from me.

In retrospect - it was probably the right thing to do. Now the place is full of them.

so.. june 2001... mooslims getting uppity and a secret service agent spots something wrong.

sounds like a good call to me.

apologizing to them, prior to 9-11, would have been the diplomatic thing to do.

post 9-11, just toss him in a blender and flip the switch. i’m done tolerating those that would kill me and mine given half a chance.

The Saudi Arabian government seizes privately owned bible and other non-Islamic religious texts and burns them every year and the Islamist in the White House can only cry about mistreatment of the “holy” koran.

Just my opinion only, but I have observed the well crafted use of political correctness to have been adopted by certain adherents of Islam. This might not be true of many of that faith, in our English speaking world but..... In my own native country, England and in my adopted country Canada, an image forms only too easily.

We have the tragic case of the Shafia family in Canada and the so-called honour killings of three women. That image often in the minds of the unsuspecting individual, could be that of a pudgy middle aged or elderly man, of Middle Eastern origin. His eyes glow with fire. He screams and shouts and yet no police or security seem to intervene.

True this is not often the case, but these types of men scare everybody. The accused in the Shafia murder case yells, I will s..t on their graves. This on police surveillance tapes. He is of this description, still at trial however.

I believe that all this is a carefully crafted image. From the aircraft incident with the praying Imans, to provoking people at ground zero, it has it`s effect. Billy Cunningham was sharply reproved by Senator McCain at a presidential campaign rally for that candidate. Billy had mentioned Barack HUSSEIN Obama. Billy smarted over that incident. What I am trying to say is that the fanatics know how to play the system. Scary stuff- an Orwellian nightmare.

I don’t know why you are working so hard to defend Obama, but what he apologized for was the studied, deliberate, and proper action of the military in regards to compromised, defaced materials.

My post #13.

Always a matter of regret to fire off too soon- at least in respect to Senator McCain. "This just in" or something like that. The Senator has listed a blistering defense of his running mate Sarah Palin. Hits hard at the vile detractors of this good woman. Excellent stuff.

While John still believes in an apology for the burning of the Koran, he insists President Karzai should apologize for the 1000 young Americans who have died in Afghanistan.

John McCain seems to find new energy. Wonder how he does it? (Friendly chuckle).

The Fanatics indeed do. I believe the solution is attack political correctness, the entire concept that western civilization is the font source of the world’s ills, and that there is cultural equivalnce between some savage tribesman living in a tent in the middle of the wildnerness and a modern man who can read, write, think and use modern inventions - thanks PRIMARLY to western civilization and its genius.
