A priest named Fr. Leo Patalinghug has issued a somewhat unconventional and certainly attention-grabbing response to the Obama administration’s abortifacient birth control mandate.
No, he doesn’t actually give the President the finger, although it might look like it at first. But what he does give as a cogent and impassioned defense of freedom of religion from a Catholic perspective, and points out some critical ways in which Obama has broken his promises to people of faith.

Before concluding the Homily at today’s Mass, the Deacon went into an indepth explanation about Barry’s attack on Catholic institutions. He was right on concerning the details buried in Obamacare, but he went further and compared it to what the Hitler, Lenin and Stalin did. In other words, destroy religious freedom and you control the populace.
I noticed several parishioners walked out, but everyone was attentive and took it all in. My concern is 75% of those attending had no idea what he was talking about and probably went over their heads.
The ankle grabbers will try to have this priest apologize not before long.
