Joint Statement by the Delegations Assigned to Probe Bagram Incident

Saturday, 25 February 2012 09:02

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Following the insulting and shameful act of burning Quran in Bagram airbase that injured the religious sentiments of the Islamic world and particularly of the Afghan Muslim nation, two delegations comprising of representatives from government, the National Council of Ulemma and the National Assembly were assigned and dispatched to investigate the circumstances and causes that have led to the inhumane incident.

The delegations, while deeply touched by the religious sentiments shown by the Afghan Muslim and Mujahid nation, inform our citizens of the following:

1. In view of the particular security situation in the country, we call on all our Muslim citizens of Afghanistan to exercise self-restraint and extra vigilance in dealing with the issue and avoid resorting to protests and demonstrations that may provide ground for the enemy to take advantage of the situation.

2. After the shameful incident by the US soldiers stationed in Bagram, senior NATO and American officials expressed their deep apologies to the Muslim nation of Afghanistan and assured that such incidents will not happen again.

3. NATO officials promised to meet Afghan nation’s demand of bringing to justice, through an open trial, those responsible for the incident and it was agreed that the perpetrators of the crime be brought to justice as soon as possible.

4. The assigned delegations demand from the government of Afghanistan to take over from the Americans the authority of the Bagram prison so no such incidents can recur and calls on the US government to fully and comprehensively cooperate to this end.

5. The delegations also want from the Afghan government to formally praise those brave Afghan army soldiers and all others who showed feelings against the disrespectful act by preventing more religious books and Quran copies from burning, so that the pure Muslim sentiments of our honored Mujahid nation can remain alive.

So where's the outcry from our Representatives in Government??????? I don't hear anything other than from the other side.... Last I knew this was still the USA.

We soooo need to bring our guys out of that cesspool NOW...and let them blow it to smithereens on their way out...the entire world would be better off without those people.

Quite the incentive for anyone considering the military....you burn four Korans that we gave the prisoners, they used them to incite other prisoners...we took them away and burned them. Now our guys are going “To TRIAL!!!!!

This is evil operating plain and simple!

I’m not so sure it’s just muzzie propaganda. I’m pretty sure that Obama promised in one of his most recent serial apologies to see that the people involved were identified and punished, and I know that either a US general or some NATO figure also mentioned this on Saturday.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens.

That said, I’m not sure who they could blame or for what. I bet you will find that disposing of a defaced Koran by burning it is probably in the official guidelines somewhere, since that is what the muzzies themselves are supposed to do with a defaced Koran, and this was standard practice. So I’m not sure there are any charges they could bring against either the officers who ordered it or the enlisted people who carried it out.

But I’m sure they’ll find something if they try hard enough. After all, one of the Afghanis I saw interviewed helpfully pointed out that the punishment is normally death, but maybe the Muslims would settle for something less in this case. So this means that Barry’s great influence has gotten us a break, right?

I`m not yet ready to credence to this. Muslims treat rumor as fact and lie like snakes on a country road. How about we see first if any non-muslim reporting is substantiating the story?

One of the worst errors this country ever committed was aiding the Afghan muslim filth against Soviet occupation. We should`ve aided the Soviets.

Veterans, this is our call to hold a "Warrior Walk on Washington" to stop this.

It takes little imagination to determine the outcome of this trial. Can we sit by while our troops are sacrificed to some primitive god?

"Two points.

NATO writes the rules of engagement, which is why the ‘war’ will never be won by America.

When you see a headline that said NATO troops killed, they mean AMERICANS.

Germany is calling the shots using American soldiers to promote the EU agenda with NATO.

Corruption, corruption, corruption is killing Americans in Afghanistan."

Well, not fully. NATO is nothing but a beard for America. And our ROEs and PC dhimmi approach to the war is getting Americans killed. The bottom line is that Obama is getting Americans killed.

The US Congress GAVE NATO permission to tap all
US wire transmissions.

NATO was reportedly also
given police power over any American in the USA
by the Obama Administration.

America is near lost, and the entire US Congress
is responsible by having done NOTHING. EVER.

Get all our troops out, and then just bomb the living Hell out of 'em, from one end of that godforsaken shithole to the other. And be sure to eradicate every single poppy field there is, eliminate their only cash crop while we're at it, and as an extra bonus, I propose putting that joker Karzai into a steel cage match with the one-eyed Mullah Omar "loser leaves town" (which means BOTH of those losers will be leaving town)
